Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message
is heard through the Word of Christ.

We at the I.M. Church believe that studying the Bible is
the most important thing for a Christian (or a would-be Christian) to
do. From reading the Bible we learn how to pray, how to behave, how to
have fellowship, in fact everything else about the Christian walk can
be learnt from reading the Word of God.
It's like the Christian's handbook.
Our weekly Bible discussion group meets each Wednesday at 7.30pm in church to read and study portions of the Bible. Led by Paul Cliff, the group has recently studied Genesis, Exodus, and Joshua, and difficult biblical topics such as baptism in a simple and easy-to-follow way. We are currently studying the life of King David. The meetings are very informal and there are always plenty of opportunities to ask questions and join in the discussions (if you want to).
On Monday nights at 8pm there is a "18-30" Bible Study house group. Don't be put off by the age range, the group is aimed at young people and young Christians alike, and the topics studied tend to be less "heavy" than in the Wednesday group.
