Psalm 37:1-9
1Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.
2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
3Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and truly you shall be fed.
4Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.
5Commit your way to the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.
7Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any wise to do evil.
9For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
Place your trust in GOD. Believe that I AM. There are so many thinks we cannot fix, those unfixable things that force us to turn to GOD. Because of the problems, hardship and difficulties that we cannot fix, we need the Almighty GOD.
Fret not;
If we fret, it will take on us the wear and tear, it will take its toll on your physical body, emotions and spirit.
When you fret we will find ourselves doing what we shouldn’t be doing or saying things what we shouldn’t be saying.
3Trust in the LORD, and do good
5Commit your way to the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
Be committed to Him.
4Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart.
Delight yourself in the LORD means I am satisfied with Him, I am in peace with Him, I enjoy His presence, I enjoy His fellowship, His purpose in My life. If I am delighted in Him it is because I place my trust in Him. It is His will, purpose and plan to give His children what they want and desire, His plan and will in our lives. GOD enjoys to give to His children whatever they ask as long as it fits His purpose in our lives. He says commit your way in the LORD.
7Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him:
In my circumstance I am to pause until I get further instruction. I am going to let the LORD handle it. LORD I know that you want the best for me, what is right for me, I can’t fix this, I can’t handle it, I give it up to You please fix it for me. Submission to His will. Restlessness, agitation, fretting about something are an indication that you do not trust the LORD.
Pause, wait for further instructions, do not move ahead of GOD,
Psalm 27:14
14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Be strong because He knew it’s very difficult to wait when you want to move. If I am waiting on the LORD I am trusting Him. GOD wants us to live a life of trust. Joshua lived by faith, by placing our trust onto the LORD means relying on Him, looking upon Him, it means believing in Him, He will do what He says, He is who He say He is.
2 Samuel 7:18-29 also in 1 Chronicles 17:16-27
David’s Prayer of Thanksgiving
18Then went king David in, and sat before the LORD, and he said, Who am I, O Lord GOD? and what is my house, that you have brought me till now? 19And this was yet a small thing in your sight, O Lord GOD; but you have spoken also of your servant’s house for a great while to come. And is this the manner of man, O Lord GOD? 20And what can David say more to you? for you, Lord GOD, know your servant. 21For your word’s sake, and according to your own heart, have you done all these great things, to make your servant know them. 22Why you are great, O LORD God: for there is none like you, neither is there any God beside you, according to all that we have heard with our ears.
23And who is like your people Israel—the one nation on earth that God went out to redeem as a people for himself, and to make a name for himself, and to perform great and awesome wonders by driving out nations and their gods from before your people, whom you redeemed from Egypt? 24You have established your people Israel as your very own forever, and you, Lord, have become their God.
25“And now, Lord God, keep forever the promise you have made concerning your servant and his house. Do as you promised, 26so that your name will be great forever. Then people will say, ‘The Lord Almighty is God over Israel!’ And the house of your servant David will be established in your sight.
27“Lord Almighty, God of Israel, you have revealed this to your servant, saying, ‘I will build a house for you.’ So your servant has found courage to pray this prayer to you. 28Sovereign Lord, you are God! Your covenant is trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant. 29 Now be pleased to bless the house of your servant, that it may continue forever in your sight; for you, Sovereign Lord, have spoken, and with your blessing the house of your servant will be blessed forever.”
LORD seated at the right hand of the GOD the Father continually making intersection for you and me.
He is the essence of the truth Himself. “GOD cannot lie” Titus. He is a GOD of truth, only speaks truth, GOD is the truth.
Lamentations 3
23They are new every morning: great is your faithfulness.
He is faithful, trustworthy, reliable.
We have a promise of His presence. He will always be there when we need Him.
He says I will never leave you or forsake you. I can always trust Him no matter what. If He makes the promise, He is faithful to carry out the promise.
We have a promise of His pardon. He says;
1 John 1:9
9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Philippians 4:1-20
19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. 20Now to God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
We have His promise of protection in Psalm 91
Matthew 7:7 also in Luke 11:5-13
7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you:
We have a promise that LORD Jesus will present us to before the Heavenly Father.
Jude 1:24
24Now to him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
Psalm 16:11
11You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for ever more.
He is teaching us how to live a relationship with Him that makes our life complete no matter what our hardship, trials might be, GOD will give us overwhelming of joy and peace. GOD is faithful to keep every single one of those promises.
GOD is in control and He will take care of His children.
