Galatians 5:1, 13
1Stand fast therefore in the liberty with which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
13For, brethren, you have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
John 12:26
26If any man serves me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serves me, him will my Father honour.
*Servanthood is a call to GOD’s purpose for our lives.
*Our serving GOD is part of growing in the LORD. We will face test and trials. That is the best way to learn the Word of GOD. We need to grow spiritually. Failure is part of it.
GOD has predestined us to likeness of LORD Jesus Christ. When we give our best, GOD always honours our service because He is measuring us for future service.
*Servanthood is a call to exercise our spiritual gift.
1 Peter 4:10
10As every man has received a gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
When you are saved the Spirit of GOD gifted you, equipped you to do what GOD wants you to do.
Romans 12:5-6
5So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
6Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith;
According to GOD’s plan and purpose we are all given different gifts. When we exercise our gift we are at our best.
Ministry takes place in your life when the divine resources of GOD meet a human need through a loving servant.
Servanthood is a call for personal involvement in the lives of others. Give yourself to others no matter what.
LORD says, give it will be given to you. Servanthood is giving yourself to GOD and other people.
Acts 13:36
36“Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed.
