2 Peter 3:8-9

8But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. 9The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Live a godly life, expecting anticipating.

We have personal responsibilities as children of GOD. Till He comes;

*Watch faithfully how we live, how our testimony is like, what kind of testimony we live before them, we need to be faithfully watching and keep busy doing what GOD called me to do.

1 John 3:9

9No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.

*Live peacefully, because we are sons and daughters of living GOD and we have the gift of eternal life, He is always with us will provide us what we need, GOD cares for us.

Philippians 4:6-7

6Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

7And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

2 Peter 1:1-4

1Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ,

To those who through the righteousness of our God and Saviour Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:

2Grace and peace be yours in abundance through the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.

Confirming One’s Calling and Election

3His divine power has given us everything we need for a godly life through our knowledge of him who called us by his own glory and goodness. 4Through these he has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature, having escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

2 Peter 3:3-9

3Above all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. 4They will say, “Where is this ‘coming’ he promised? Ever since our ancestors died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation.” 5But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water. 6By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. 7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

Be careful of mockers. Mocking children of GOD is mocking Son of GOD because Son of GOD living within us, He is part of our life. You cannot criticise the children of GOD and get away from it. Mocking a child of GOD is a dangerous things to do. They know we have something they don’t have. Our responsibility is live a godly life and claim peace of GOD.

Ezekiel 18:20

20The one who sins is the one who will die.

Romans 6:23

23For the wages of sin is death,

2 Thessalonians 2:15

15So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings ^c we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

The truth will keep us, we can stand strong.

*Work diligently, serve the LORD diligently till LORD Jesus comes.

LORD is coming we need to watch and work diligently. He wants us to grow spiritually and in oneness with Him. And share the love of GOD and the atoning death of LORD Jesus Christ on the cross for us to be saved.

2 Peter 3:18

18But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.
