Loyal, devoted, true, genuine friend takes time to build.

Proverb 18:24

24A man that has friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother.

LORD intended us to build us and develop these kind of friendship. Wise friendship.

1 Corinthians 15:33

33Be not deceived: evil companions corrupt good morals.

Do not be deceived in thinking that you can be friend, have relationship and fellowship with none Christian, corrupted in nature and will not affect you. Bad company is anything that will draw me away from GOD who we try to please.

*Friendship can delight us, enjoyment, and pleasure.

*Those friendship develop us.

*They drive us, motivate us.

Bad friendships;

*disillusion us, walk away from us when we need them or they turn on you.

*bring on great distress on us, violating Word of GOD, walking away from GOD. You try to bring them in line with GOD but we experience hurt.

*it can drag us down, if they are very strong in their convictions.

*destroy. Unwise fellowship, relationship, companionship can destroy someone life.

Rewarding friendship;

*you feel accepted by them

*sense of love

*change, we are challenged by them, we challenge them, it strengthens your convictions, your love for LORD Jesus.

*intimacy, you can share anything without judgement or condemnation.

*fruitfulness, more productive and fruitful and energised, easy to get along with

*sense of security who will stand with us

*spiritual growth, mutual interest things of GOD, we are able to grow spiritually we share our hearts. Those loving friendships are the ones GOD has developed in our life.
