Your speech should be edifying, encouraging.

Ephesians 4:29-32

29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed unto the day of redemption.

31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32And be you kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you.

Walk in the manner of worthy of your calling. Our calling is Christ likeness. Unwholesome speech -hurtful, critical, distractive, ripping someone reputation, grieves the Holy Spirit.

Psalm 141:3

3Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep watch over the door of my lips.

GOD guide me in what I say, edifying and building up. A soft answer turns away wrath. GOD watch over what we say how we say it.

*It should be edifying, encouraging, stimulating, and building them up.

*At the right time when they needed an encouragement, you make them feel important. Be positive. My work and my words are under the control of the Holy Spirit.

*It should be gracious, kind, good, blessing to other person. Bitterness, wrath and anger put it away.

LORD Jesus never defended Himself because He responded kind because He knew they were coming from darkness. Just as Christ forgiven me. Saints don’t need to defend themselves, they walk in the truth and allow the life of Christ live through them so that the other person will be shamed because your kind, tender hearted response will blow their mind. Don’t fight your enemies, concur them by loving. In light of grace of GOD, let us speak in the manner of worthy of our calling.
