2 Timothy 4:9-17

9Do your diligence to come shortly unto me:

10For Demas has forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

11Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with you: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.

12And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.

13The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when you come, bring with you, and the books, but especially the parchments.

14Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:

15Of whom you beware also; for he has greatly withstood our words.

16At my first defence no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

17However the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

He is feeling over sense of loneliness and fear .All his friends were gone but he stood there with all sense of confidence and assurance. The awareness, presence of LORD Jesus Christ with him. GOD made him aware LORD Jesus was standing with him. LORD made sure he knows ‘I am with you’. He felt presence of LORD Jesus Christ.

LORD provides what we need at the moment we need it. At that moment he experienced the strength of LORD Jesus Christ. Awareness of the fulfilling the purpose of GOD for his life.

He preached and taught LORD Jesus Christ.

*The LORD Jesus Christ stand with us.

*The LORD Jesus Christ strengthens us.

*He will enable to fulfil His purpose till our last breath in our life.

He soaked himself into Word of GOD. He wanted the Word of GOD to study and have deeper understanding of Word of GOD. He was sold out to living GOD.

The Word of GOD is centre of all my life.

The strength of LORD Jesus and purpose of LORD Jesus Christ is in your life and through your life.
