1 Thessalonians 4:1-8

1Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as you have received of us how you ought to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more.

2For you know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus.

3For this is the will of God, even your sanctification that you should abstain from fornication:

4That every one of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honour;

5Not in the lust of passion, even as the Gentiles who know not God:

6That no man transgress and wrong his brother in any matter: because the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified.

7For God has not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

8He therefore that despises, despises not man, but God, who has also given unto us his Holy Spirit.

Man should choose his wife with right attitude, in right manner, not based on lust or after sexual experience but based on honouring that woman and recognising who they are. They are children of GOD and GOD’s method bringing His children together is not build around sex, it is built around spirit of intimacy, closeness, getting to know each other at deeper level. If I love you, I want what’s best for you. If I lust, I want what’s good for me. Love is about the other person and lust is all about me attitude. GOD has given us right and power to choose rightly and obey Him.

Exodus 20:14

14You shall not commit adultery.

In Hebrews, Leviticus GOD warns against sexual sin, Proverbs 4:20-27, Proverbs 5 warning to young man,

1 Corinthians 6:18-20

18Flee fornication. Every sin that a man does is outside the body; but he that commits fornication sins against his own body.

19What? know you not that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have of God, and you are not your own?

20For you are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

 Once you trust LORD Jesus Christ, you gave yourself to Him and He sent the Holy Spirit to live in the inside of you which is His way of sealing you forever as a child of GOD.

James 1:14-15

14But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

15Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.

As you continue in sexual sin, it will get worse and worse, it’s disobedience to GOD. You will lose your capacity and privilege to have intimate relationship with GOD as you have prostituted your one of your awesome opportunity you had.

Love is giving yourself to one another, lust is what I want.

The power of temptation is the deceptive offer immediate pleasure without penalty.

What causes immorality is ‘need’. No physical relationship will make you feel complete and at ease in your soul the only way to feel true fulfilment is with GOD through His Son LORD Jesus Christ.
