What kind of person you want to be? And How you want to be remembered? What kind of person I want to be?

Acts 13:16-22

16Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and you that fear God, listen.

17The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as sojourners in the land of Egypt, and with uplifted arm he brought them out of it.

18And about the time of forty years he endured their manners in the wilderness.

19And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Canaan, he divided their land to them by lot.

20And after that he gave unto them judges for about four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.

21And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Kish, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, for forty years.

22And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after my own heart, who shall fulfil all my will.

*David placed the priority of His life on a personal relationship with GOD. The priority of his life was GOD.

Psalm 119 is Word of GOD

Psalm 119:15-16, 105

15I will meditate in your precepts, and have respect unto your ways.

16I will delight myself in your statutes: I will not forget your word.

105Your word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

The most important thing in His life was understanding Word of GOD.

The personal relationship begins with Word of GOD. This is the fuel that feeds the hunger in our heart.

The person with heart after GOD is a person who is priority is the personal relationship with Him. There is nothing like having a personal relationship with GOD. Keeps you in the will of GOD.

*Prayer time, time spend alone with GOD.

Psalm 5:3

3My voice shall you hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto you, and will look up.

GOD is growing us up day by day.

Psalm 63:6-7

6When I remember you upon my bed, and meditate on you in the night watches.

7Because you have been my help, therefore in the shadow of your wings will I rejoice.

Psalm 62:1

1Truly my soul waits upon God: from him comes my salvation.

Listen to GOD, anticipate what GOD will do for our life.

Meditating on the Word of GOD, talking to Him, listening to Him, contemplating on His Word. Anticipating what GOD will do in our life that day.

*Place your trust in Him.

Psalm 103:19

19The LORD has prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom rules over all.

He came to that conclusion by meditating upon His Word, by listening to Him, by watching what GOD did in His life. His faith was being built by the personal relationship with the Father.

His faith was tested in his battle with Goliath. He believed GOD and His Word.

1 Samuel 17:45-47

45Then said David to the Philistine, You come to me with a sword, and with a spear, and with a shield: but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.

46This day will the LORD deliver you into my hand; and I will strike you, and take your head from you; and I will give the carcasses of the host of the Philistines this day unto the fowls of the air, and to the wild beasts of the earth; that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.

47And all this assembly shall know that the LORD saves not with sword and spear: for the battle is the LORD’S, and he will give you into our hands.

The priority of His life was the personal relationship with GOD, talking to the Father, listening to Him, observing the results, be willing to be tested and tried.

Are you prepared to face those challenging issues of life?

The man/woman who is after GOD’s heat will be prepared to face anything the world throws at you.
