Ephesians 1:3-14
3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
4According as he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
5Having predestined us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
6To the praise of the glory of his grace, in which he has made us accepted in the beloved.
7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
8Which he has abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he has purposed in himself:
10That in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
11In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestined according to the purpose of him who works all things after the counsel of his own will:
12That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
13In whom you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after you believed, you were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,
14Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Who are we?
*We became saints
Redemption we were redeemed from the captivity of sin. Now freed and liberated as a child of GOD.
Ephesians 2:1-4
1As for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2in which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient. 3All of us also lived among them at one time, gratifying the cravings of our flesh and following its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature deserving of wrath. 4But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.
Romans 6:23
“23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
The redeemer is LORD Jesus Chris. He gave Himself in order to free us from captivity of sin.
You are valuable, redeemed, forgiven saint. His Son died for us in order to forgive us our sins. He sent His only begotten Son to save us. He was sinless, perfect.
Hebrews 10:12, 14
12But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right hand of God;
14For by one offering he has perfected forever them that are sanctified.
Psalm 103:12
12As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
GOD gave His best, His Son to redeem us from our sins. You are GOD’s choice, His prized possession, eternally valuable saints whom He has redeemed, forgiven and accepted in His Son. You belong to Him. He is worth living for, He is worth obeying for, He is worth serving for, He is worth praising and He is worth loving.
