Does prayer influence GOD

Purity of our heart affects the response of GOD.

               Matthew 7:7-11

7“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.

9“Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? 11If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!

We pray;

To honour the LORD

               Isaiah 57:15

15For this is what the high and exalted One says—

he who lives forever, whose name is holy:

“I live in a high and holy place,

but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit,

to revive the spirit of the lowly

and to revive the heart of the contrite.

Our primary need for our spiritual growth

Talk to GOD in the morning for the first thing, during the day in the evening last thing.

Prayer is vital part in Christian life

He will reveal Himself to you to the degree you give yourself to Him.

Listen and obey what He tells you.

LORD gets us involve His work

You can talk to GOD about anyone, anywhere in the world.

Come to GOD with open, clean, pure heart.

Matthew 6:8

8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.

LORD knows your needs, you need to pray because you honour Him, acknowledge Him as source of your power, and He is loving Father promised to meet your needs.

Philippians 4:19

19And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.

I know He will take care of Me without any doubting. He is absolutely faithful. We have His undivided attention.

You cannot influence GOD against His will.

Luke 6:28

28bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.

Matthew 6:11-12

11Give us today our daily bread.

               12And forgive us our debts,

as we also have forgiven our debtors.

GOD will not ask you to pray for those who curse you, persecute you if He did not intent to do something about it.

GOD provides our daily bread and forgives us our sins.

Matthew 9:37-38

37Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”

That’s the way He gets His work done, laying a burden in our heart, we cry to Him, He answers our pray.

Ephesians 1:18

18I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people,

Colossians 4:3

3And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains.

James 5:14

14Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord.
