Ephesians 4:1-2

1I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that you walk worthy of the vocation by which you are called,

2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

Hebrews 3:1

1Therefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

2 Timothy 1:8-9

8Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

9Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

 Our calling is heavenly calling and we are part of unfolding revelation of GOD’s great purpose on earth and His great purpose in life.

Romans 11:29

29for God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable.

GOD issued a call for every man to be saved and He issued a specific call to all of us in some areas of our life and when He does it is irrevocable, it does not change. GOD will not bless anyone who deliberately and wilfully violets His calling. A call from GOD a personal, divine, supernatural invitation.

2 Peter 1:10

10Therefore, my brothers and sisters, a make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,

1 Corinthians 1:2

2Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

Ephesians 1:18

18I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people

I want you to know what hope you have in His calling.

Ephesians 1:4

4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

GOD made a decision, He made a choice, He called us, He chose us in Him and having made the decision He issued the call for us to be saved. We are called once and for all. GOD issues the call to our life. Call to salvation, call to sainthood, walk as saints, He also equipped us to live our calling indwell by the Holy Spirit, energized by Him, enlightened by Him, sealed by the Holy Spirit. Sealed with protection from GOD.

We are saints. We are to walk worthy of our calling; we are to walk in a manner that match up, who I am, what I profess.

Our calling is sainthood, it is to be consistent in harmony with who I am. Humbly before Mighty GOD and gentleness and kind towards other people, patient with other people,

Ephesians 1:2-14

2With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

3Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.

4For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love

5he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will—

6to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace

8that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding, 9he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ, 10to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfilment—to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ.

11In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, 12in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory. 13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession—to the praise of his glory.

Our walk is to have this kind of weight to it. Our walk is to leave some footprints and those footprints is to bear the image of a saint, sacredly different from others. We are saints first. That’s what we are.
