1 Corinthians 10:14-22
14Therefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.
15I speak as to wise men; judge what I say.
16The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not the communion of the body of Christ?
17For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread.
18Behold Israel after the flesh: are not they who eat of the sacrifices partakers of the altar?
19What do I say then? That the idol is anything, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is anything?
20But I say, that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God: and I would not that you should have fellowship with demons.
21You cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of demons: you cannot be partakers of the Lord’s Table, and of the table of demons.
22Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?
All idolatry demonic. You cannot feast at the table of idolatry and partake of Lord’s Table. When we come to Lord’s Table we participate in communion of the blood of Christ.
Gentiles’ sacrifice they sacrifice to demons not to GOD. The first thing devil does confuse people. Abstain from demonic people.
Remember your children will do what you have done even more.
1 John 2:15-17
15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides forever.
You cannot serve the GOD and the world. At Lord’s Table we identifies ourselves with Him, we worship Him, and we acknowledge LORD Jesus as our GOD.
Don’t become shares of demon.
1 Corinthians 10:31
31Whether therefore you eat, or drink, or whatsoever you do, do all to the glory of God.
*Will this activity bring glory to GOD, honour Him?
*Is it profitable to my Christian walk, will it aid me in my walk?
*Will it build me up –edify me, as a believer?
*Does this activity has a potential to enslave me?
*Is this going to strengthen me against temptation or will lead me to it?
*Is this activity characteristic of GOD? Or of the world?
