Freedom from guilt

Reasons for feeling guilty;

* New Testament is about grace and loving kindness of GOD.

* LORD Jesus paid my sins in full and made it possible for me to be child of GOD.

Romans 10:9

9That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

John 3:16

16For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

It is faith in LORD Jesus Christ as GOD’s Son and faith in what He did at Calvary makes it possible for us to become a child of GOD.

Repentance is what I do as a result of what’s happened in my heart as a result of receiving LORD Jesus as my personal Saviour.

It is a cleaning up in my life and all the things that must go which does not fit to who I am.

My responsibility is to confess my sin and turn away from it. It releases you from guilt, broken fellowship, estrangement.

1 John 1:9

9If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

GOD forgives us. Grace of GOD takes care of our sins past, present and future.

However if you sin there are consequences.

Luke 15 Parable of the Lost Son

Isaiah 43:25

25I, even I, am he that blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and will not remember your sins.

He does not want us to feel guilty, He says “I will not remember your sins”.

My presence in the presence of GOD is right.

Sin is deliberate wrong act, mistake is done without thinking through the consequences properly.

Romans 8:28

28And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

GOD knows we are His children all of us make mistake, He understands.

GOD never calls you to do something in general, GOD calls you to do something specific.

GOD will say you are forgiven and sets you on right track and gives you new beginning.

Word of God
