GOD does not change His mind

Posted on 31 Oct 2019

If GOD choses to do something no matter what you think He will get it done. GOD has chosen the best for you. He got the best waiting for you. GOD is in control, we are not in control of our life.

Prayer changes things. Pray consistently for your children. GOD will respond to my petition and He will do what I asked Him to do in His time in His way. GOD changes things through our prayer. So our prayer do make impact, they do make difference. Our prayer will not change GOD’s plan and purpose. Our prayer makes an impact but it will not change GOD’s ultimate plan and purpose. GOD is in absolute control in every single issue in our life.

1 Samuel 15:28-29

28Samuel said to him, “The Lord has torn the kingdom of Israel from you today and has given it to one of your neighbours—to one better than you. 29He who is the Glory of Israel does not lie or change his mind; for he is not a human being, that he should change his mind.”

Psalm 110:4

4The Lord has sworn

and will not change his mind:

“You are a priest forever,

in the order of Melchizedek.”

Jeremiah 4:28

28Therefore the earth will mourn

and the heavens above grow dark,

because I have spoken and will not relent,

I have decided and will not turn back.”

Exodus 32:8-14

8They have been quick to turn away from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol cast in the shape of a calf. They have bowed down to it and sacrificed to it and have said, ‘These are your gods, Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.’

9“I have seen these people,” the Lord said to Moses, “and they are a stiff-necked people. 10Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn against them and that I may destroy them. Then I will make you into a great nation.”

11But Moses sought the favour of the Lord his God. “Lord,” he said, “why should your anger burn against your people, whom you brought out of Egypt with great power and a mighty hand? 12Why should the Egyptians say, ‘It was with evil intent that he brought them out, to kill them in the mountains and to wipe them off the face of the earth’? Turn from your fierce anger; relent and do not bring disaster on your people. 13Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Israel, to whom you swore by your own self: ‘I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and I will give your descendants all this land I promised them, and it will be their inheritance forever.’ ” 14Then the Lord relented and did not bring on his people the disaster he had threatened.

GOD is omniscient He does not need to change His mind for He knows past, present and the future. Therefore for Him to change His mind will mean He now knows something new or discovered something new, which is not the case. He knows all, He knew exactly what He will do.

-GOD is testing Moses devotion as a leader

-describing the way man thinks, He knew Moses mind and response. GOD is omniscient and purposed He does not have to change His mind. It is a figure of speech here.

Prayer impacts on how He gets us involved in His work. It will impact on our faith, it will impact on our sense of dependence on Him, it will impact my agreement with His will, it will impact in every single area of my life. We are a child of GOD He is ready to answer all our petition and prayer.

GOD will move heaven and earth in order to accomplish His purpose in your life. He is willing to the His work in the inside of you. You just need to believe in Him, trust Him and walk in His steps. He will surprise you with His goodness, grace and love for you. Keep walking in His will and ways. Keep your focus on GOD no matter what.

Romans 8:28

28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
