Romans 8:28-30

28And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. 29For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. 30And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified.

GOD’s goal for our lives is to conform us to the image of our LORD Jesus Christ.

It means to be made like the LORD Jesus. When we are saved we are born again. That is by the grace of GOD we are born again to a new family, family of GOD. We became children of GOD. We are now part of family of GOD. When we did that Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ comes to live in us. Bible says I abide in you, you abide in Me. We have Christ living in us through the Holy Spirit. The work of the Holy Spirit is to live the very life of LORD Jesus Christ through us. We now bear the image of LORD Jesus Christ. Our character is LORD Jesus Christ’s, our conduct and conversation should reflect we are the sons and daughters of GOD.

We are not like the world. Because we are image of our heavenly Brother that is LORD Jesus Christ and GOD is in the process of making us like Him. Because LORD Jesus Christ living inside of me through the Holy Spirit as I submit to the Holy Spirit LORD Jesus Christ express more and more His life through me in every area of my character, conduct and conversation. We bring, body, mind, soul and spirit in subjection to in dwelling presence of LORD Jesus.

The inner man is being conformed now. The outer man will be conformed later.

2 Corinthians 3:16-18

16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. 17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. 18And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.

Moment by moment, day by day transforming us in the inside. We more and more expressing the image of LORD Jesus Christ in us. What we focus on what we become like. What we focus on intensely what we become, what we think about most we become like that. GOD’s goal is to make us like LORD Jesus Christ.

We know as a divine truth. We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him. This is GOD’s goal. GOD concerns about the finish product.

GOD disciplines us because He loves us. He is interested in our character. Moment by moment He is engineering circumstances that come out for our good every time. Our goal should be the same. GOD says I am working for your good to accomplish My goal for your life.

He foreknew us, He predestined us, He justified us, He also glorified us. Glorification is the ultimate finished the inner and outer man is the same as LORD Jesus Christ. It is already done.

GOD eternal purpose is to bring us to likeness of LORD Jesus Christ.

Our goal should be the same to conform the likeness of LORD Jesus Christ.

GOD is engineering every single event in our life to shape us to likeness of His Son LORD Jesus Christ.
