Brokenness is GOD’s method of dealing with self-life – desire within us act independently of GOD. It is act of love.

He want us to trust Him.

He targets the area that needs to be worked on and He controls the pressure. GOD breaks our self-will. He is interested in making us useful servant of GOD.

Why do people resist?

*pride

*ignorance

*fear

We get in tangles if you have a relationship that is not will of GOD. A little bit of rebellion hurt a lot of people and they chose between GOD and somebody else.

Something you cannot affect what somebody else does, you cannot make them do what GOD wants them to do, you cannot force them to be obedient to GOD and when they choose otherwise you have to let them go. But we must be obedient to GOD no matter what.

By resisting;

We delay GOD’s will in our life. Rebellion does not work with GOD. Your own relationship is hindered.

If you refuse to be broken your whole family will suffer. GOD will not give up until you yield and while He is working on you they will suffer.

If person refuses to be broken GOD limits what He can do with them. They will be blaming other people. They don’t stop and think this is Holy GOD, the Almighty. GOD will keep the pressure on them. Sometime its physical, emotional, spiritual pain. You cannot fight against it. You don’t want to resist that. GOD has something good in mind. Surrender is the right response.

If you don’t surrender GOD puts you on shelf. Satan will give just enough satisfaction to keep you from being broken by GOD.

Somethings you will never know until you surrender your life totally to Him and see how He uses you and blesses you, uses you to impact on other people lives.

It is spiritual maturity. GOD is breaking our self-reliance not our spirit. Surrender your life to Holy GOD.
