The cross is the most important, it is ultimately work of LORD Jesus Christ on the cross. We should give account of all our deeds before the judgement.

John 3:36

Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.

1 Corinthians 1:17-25

17For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of no effect.

18For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God.

19For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

20Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

21For since in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

22For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

23But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

24But unto them who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

25Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

The cross of LORD Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:18

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

The cross itself does not save us, it is LORD Jesus Christ Himself saves us.

Acts 2:23-24

23Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:

24Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held by it.

GOD being able to justify, declared not guilty.

Is there any way we could do this without being separated? He was separated from the Father and taken up whole the sins of the world. There was no other way unless LORD Jesus Christ took our sins upon Himself.
