Ephesians 2:1-10

1And you has he made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins:

2In which in time past you walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience:

3Among whom also we all had our behaviour in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others.

4But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us,

5Even when we were dead in sins, has made us alive together with Christ, (by grace you are saved😉

6And has raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

7That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.

8For by grace are you saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

*Grace alone we are saved. Initiated by GOD. GOD is rich in mercy.

*We are seated in heavenly places and in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus, in the ages to come, eternally through Christ Jesus.

The moment we accept LORD Jesus Christ as our Saviour we change our mind about our old ways and we repent for our sins. Repentance is change of mind.

The offer is made by GOD, it is an opportunity for you to accept the LORD.

Whole world is guilty before GOD. When we hear the gospel either we reject the gospel or receive the gospel of LORD Jesus Christ. When we accept the LORD the transformation takes place.

Dead man can do nothing to save himself.

Grace is GOD’s kindness and graciousness to humanity without regard to man’s work or his merit in spite of himself.

Salvation is gift of GOD whereby delivers us from eternal death and endows us eternal life.

It is by grace and grace alone we are saved.

By faith you receive the gift. Grace is GOD’s kindness to us.

The condition of man is that the heart is sinful because the person born with sinful nature. There is accountability to GOD. Therefore the condition of the heart must be changed.

Galatians 5:

18But if you be led of the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, impurity, licentiousness,

20Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, strife, jealousy, wrath, selfishness, divisions, heresies,

21Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of which I tell you beforehand, as I have also told you in time past, that they who do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The works of the flesh ultimate motivation is selfishness in order to make themselves feel better.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16

14But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

2 Timothy 1:8-9

8Be not therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

9Who has saved us, and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

Romans 4:4-5

4Now to him that works is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

5But to him that works not, but believes on him that justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

We need GOD through His Son LORD Jesus Christ! The only way to heaven requires for us to believe Christ died for our sins. Accept GOD’s gift of grace and trust in Him! We will live with Him forever in heaven!!!
