2 Chronicles 20:2-3, 6

2Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There comes a great multitude against you from beyond the sea on this side of Edom; and, behold, they are in Hazazon-tamar, which is En-gedi.

3And Jehoshaphat feared, and set his face to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

6And said, O LORD God of our fathers, are not you God in heaven? and rule you not over all the kingdoms of the nations? and in your hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand you?

*GOD is interested in everything we are facing.

*GOD is greater than our challenge.

*The wisest thing you could do turn to GOD.

*Seek the LORD in prayer

In his prayer He is reminding them GOD is GOD of heaven, all power is His and no one is able to stand before Him.

*Our eyes fixed on you.

*Gathered people together to seek the LORD. Getting other people pray for you is wise, bold, courage’s.

*GOD will give you solution to whatever you are dealing with.

2 Chronicles 20:14-17

14Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;

15And he said, Hearken you, all Judah, and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you king Jehoshaphat, Thus says the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.

16Tomorrow go you down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and you shall find them at the end of the valley, before the wilderness of Jeruel.

17You shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand you still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

*GOD will speak to you very clearly. GOD solution will require something of us and often times that is not what we expect. It will require faith. When we trust in Him He will reveal His power, loving and kindness, will send valuable lessons as a result of our faith to increase our faith. He will not require of something from us that we are not able to do.

Remind Him His mercy, His great power.

2 Chronicles 20:20

Believe in the LORD your God, so shall you be established; believe his prophets, so shall you prosper.

2 Chronicles 20:22-24

22And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushes against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, who were come against Judah; and they were defeated.

23For the children of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of mount Seir, to slay and destroy them utterly: and when they had made an end of the inhabitants of Seir, everyone helped to destroy one another.

24And when Judah came to the watchtower in the wilderness, they looked toward the multitude, and, behold, they were dead bodies fallen to the earth, and none escaped.

If we do what He says He will deal with the issue.

What GOD is upto is what will bring glory and honour to Him the most.

2 Chronicles 20:25-27

25And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away the spoil of them, they found among them in abundance both riches with the dead bodies, and precious jewels, which they stripped off for themselves, more than they could carry away: and they were three days in the gathering of the spoil, it was so much.

26And on the fourth day they assembled themselves in the valley of Beracah; for there they blessed the LORD: therefore the name of the same place was called, The valley of Beracah, unto this day.

27Then they returned, every man of Judah and Jerusalem, and Jehoshaphat in front of them, to go again to Jerusalem with joy; for the LORD had made them to rejoice over their enemies.

GOD was sending a message across all land that GOD has demonstrated His power by destroying 3 full armies and not one man was lost. We don’t have to fight our enemies, stand and watch.

Pray to GOD, He will give us a solution that will bring Him glory and honour and when the battle is over we will sing and take all the spoils.

GOD says I will bless you no matter what.

Turn to the LORD, seek Him and trust Him.
