What to do when the going gets rough?

Isaiah 40:27-31

27Why say you, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, My way is hidden from the LORD, and my right is passed over by my God?

28Have you not known? have you not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, faints not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

29He gives power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increases strength.

30Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:

31But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

This world is geared against the believer, against righteousness, against peace and against harmony.

Why do we get rough times?

-Sometime we make a decision that we bring it on to ourselves out ignorance for we didn’t know any better at the time

-sometime we make wrong decisions that we know they are wrong they are against the principle. We reap, what we sow later than we sow.

-sometime we are harassed by Satan

-sometime we refuse to listen GOD. GOD wants to give us direction. Any time GOD speaks to you is to protect you.

-sometime this situations are from GOD. If GOD allows them He allows them for a specific reason.

Don’t blame GOD for the rough times. GOD always takes advantage of those difficult times in our life to teach you something that you would not learn in any other way.

It is never GOD’s plan that we live out of our own energy and strength, our own resources. It is in plan of GOD where all our energy is gone, all our plans disappeared, you have no any other place to go, nothing to do in order to bring us to realisation that we exchange earthly to heavenly.

How do we respond?

-sometime we rebel against GOD for our circumstances

-sometime we run, escape that brings great sorrow in the future

-sometime we look for anything to get us away from what we are facing at the moment

-sometime people commit suicide

The way tried, proven by saints those who suffered the most intensive pain physically, spiritually, mentally, emotionally, you can overcome the rough time.

GOD will never lead you to violate a spiritual principle.

How to respond at rough times that we come out victoriously based on inner confidence, inner assurance that is real and genuine and motivates and energies us every day in our life?

You go in the strength of the GOD. Do you know how to get GOD’s strength in your life?

The energy, strength and power is available and we can make it available when the going gets tough.

Isaiah 40:10-11

10See, the Sovereign Lord comes with power,

and he rules with a mighty arm.

See, his reward is with him,

and his recompense accompanies him.

11He tends his flock like a shepherd:

He gathers the lambs in his arms

and carries them close to his heart;

he gently leads those that have young.

When the going gets rough the first thing is to do is focus on GOD. He is a GOD who has great power. He is like a shepherd leads His lamb. He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart.

We are GOD’s plan. GOD is personally involved, He is in everything that roughing you up, He says I will never leave you or forsake you, He is always there.
