Faith is key to every aspect of your life. What you have accomplished, what you become in life affected by faith. Whatever you achieve, whatever direction you go in life your faith is key. When you put your faith in LORD Jesus Christ life becomes exciting. You will have sense of accomplishment and achievement. You will go through trials and hardship in your life but the difference is you are walking with him. You have His presence, His power, and His assistance in your life to see you through it no matter what.

Faith is the confident conviction that GOD is who says He is and will do what He promised.

James 1:2-8

2Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. 7That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. 8Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.

It starts with little faith grows in perfect faith. It is done deal, thank you LORD.

You need to be firm, confident, assured that GOD will keep His promise every time.

Mark 11:22-24

22“Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23“Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Whatever you ask if it is in harmony with His will in our lives it will come to pass. Believe that you have received it, it will be granted to you.

The place of faith;

< We have access to GOD by faith

< We walk by faith

< We have a son ship by faith

< We live by faith

< We have righteousness by faith

< We have forgiveness of sins by faith

< We have Christ dwelling in us by faith

< We receive the Holy Spirit by faith

< We are protected by faith

< We stand firm in the face of difficulties by faith

< We resist the devil by faith

< We have victory over the world by faith

< We have victory over the evil one by faith

< We have victory over the difficult circumstances

< We have power by faith

Our life is to be life of faith, fully trusting in GOD always truthful, never changes His mind, love of mercy and kindness. He is omniscient, He is omnipotent, He is omnipresent, and He is righteousness and judgement. The day you were born GOD already installed all the blessings for you, claim by faith, and enjoy it by faith.

Causes of wavering faith;

< When trusting in GOD conflicts with human reason. GOD always rewards faith.

< We allow feelings to overcome our faith. If GOD says this is what I want to do in your life trust Him. What He requires to do may be difficult but obey GOD and watch Him work in your life.

<We fail to see GOD working in our circumstances. If you ask GOD for something in your life and it does not happen immediately. GOD is ready to answer your petition in His time, in His way. Where you are spiritually or if you live in sin, He knows you need to be ready or deal with those first otherwise it won’t work. Most of the time GOD does not give us detail, the reason is He wants us to trust Him. He is getting the situation right, the timing needs to be right. Timing is very important to GOD. Whatever GOD gives He gives the best. He is protecting you by delaying His blessings.

< We listen to negative counsel of other people. Nobody knows you like GOD and only you know GOD’s will for you. If GOD says this is what I want you to do. It does not matter what anybody else thinks and He will give you clear guidance what He wants you to do. If GOD leads you any particular direction, you don’t have to answer anybody else but GOD. Trust Him.

< Focus on our circumstances than GOD. Daniel had his eyes on the GOD. That will disappear all your uncertainties and worries. Focus on GOD, what He says in His word, this unconditional loving GOD will see me through.

< We are ignorant of GOD’s ways. GOD always operates on based on principles. Obey GOD leave all the consequences to Him. GOD acts on behalf of those who wait for Him. If you are a child of GOD He allows for a reason.

< Guilt over sin. If I trust Him I accept His forgiveness and move on. If GOD promised believe what He says.

Mark 11:25-26

25And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.” 26“But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.”

< We listen to the lies of Satan. Devil will try to deceive you.

Consequences;

< We become double minded

< We become unstable

< We miss GOD’s blessings. His blessings come in perfect timing and He knows what that perfect timing is. He desires to bless us with His best.

< It destroys our faith

< We mislead other people

< We make wrong decisions

< We lose our peace. GOD does not want us in anxiety and worry. In trust believing in Him.

< We make costly decisions

< It discourages our prayer life

How we can get our faith steady and focused;

< Where do these doubts come from?

< Has GOD ever failed me in the past?

< Did GOD not promised me all my needs? Philippians 4

< Did GOD give me the Holy Spirit to enable me?

< Did GOD not promise to be with me at all times?

< Is anything too hard for GOD?

< Where should my focus be?

< Is this one of the forks in the road that I may regret?

Mediate on the word of GOD daily, unhurriedly. GOD speaks to us through His word.

Recall GOD’s answers to prayers.

Courageously choose to obey GOD. GOD give me the courage to take a leap.
