Landmine of unforgiveness

Ephesians 4:26-32

26Be angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:

27Neither give place to the devil.

28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needs.

29Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

30And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, by whom you are sealed unto the day of redemption.

31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

32And be you kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you.

Surrender, give up your right to retaliate, give up your resentment, give up your anger, give up your bitterness, give up your hostility.

The same way GOD forgives us we must forgive the other person. Unforgiveness is destructive by nature.

Holy Spirit frees you from suffering and from those negative feelings. We have been forgiven and we have the responsibility to express forgiveness towards someone else.

Forgive yourself as GOD has forgiven you.

Matthew 6:9-11

9After this manner therefore pray: Our Father who is in heaven, hallowed be your name.

10Your kingdom come. Your will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11Give us this day our daily bread.

 Romans 12:19

19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord.

Deuteronomy 32:35

35 Vengeance is Mine, and recompense;
Their foot shall slip in due time;
For the day of their calamity is at hand,
And the things to come hasten upon them
