Learning to pray the Bible way

Pray with confidence and boldness.

Matthew 7:7-11

7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.

9Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

10Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

11If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Prayer is work, requires diligence. Sometime there might be delay before we see our prayers being answered. I have a responsibility to pray, ask, seek and knock.

General rule for prayer is ask, seek and knock. We come involve in the answer.

Prayer is active involvement in relationship with the LORD.

Deeper understanding of Word of GOD is seeking and reading it.

Our Heavenly Father has desire to answer our prayer.

Continuous, persistence, endurance, steadfast in prayer.

GOD designed delays in the answer.

GOD desires to answer the prayer. Keep on asking, seeking, and knocking.

*Often times it is the will of GOD but there are delays. One of the reasons for delay is that if He sees in us attitudes, disobedience, no forgiveness, bitterness etc. In order for us to become the person He wants us to be, you may need it but He will not give it to you till you are spiritually ready to receive it. If He gave what we ask at that specific time He knows we will make mess of things therefore He delays.

*GOD is in the process of testing our earnestness and to build in us earnestness. GOD will put tremendous pressure within us.

*What concerns me draws me to GOD. Ask, seek and knocking because GOD is going to answer your prayer.

When GOD calls you we will join the LORD in heaven be with Him forever and ever.
