1 Corinthians 2:1-3, 12-16

1And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

2I have fed you with milk, and not with solid food: for until now you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able.

3For you are yet carnal: for while there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are you not carnal, and walk as men?

12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teaches, but which the Holy Spirit teaches; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

14But the natural man receives not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

15But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

16For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Levels of life;

• Natural man level which is the lowest level verse 14 that is the person does not understand the things of GOD. That person has rejected the spiritual truth, and the spiritual truth is foolishness to him. All he has human wisdom. These people do not know GOD and do not accept LORD Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour. They do not accept the things of the Spirit of GOD. They are foolishness to them. They cannot understand them they are spiritually discerned. Spirit of GOD gives them the understanding.

They interpret their life based on their life style, what they have achieved, what they have accomplished, what they desire. GOD described the person who do not know GOD, do not worship Him, resist the Truth, and disobey Him. They are the enemies of GOD.

1 Corinthians 1:23

23But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

Ephesians 2:17

17And came and preached peace to you who were afar off, and to them that were near.

Romans 3:19

19Now we know that whatsoever things the law says, it says to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God.

John 3:18, 36

18He that believes on him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

36He that believes on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believes not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abides on him.

Ephesians 4:18

18Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:

Ephesians 2:12

12That at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

1 Thessalonians 1:9

9Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;

All decisions and their life style is based on how they think. Resists the way of GOD, resists the Truth of GOD, resists the will of GOD and resists the plan of GOD in their life.

They always try to work things out because they don’t have GOD. Only the relationship with LORD Jesus Christ will move them from that level. Natural man will be eternally separated from GOD.

• The highest level

1 Corinthians 2:10-11

            10But God has revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searches all things, yea, and the deep things of              God.

               11For what man knows the things of a man, except the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God               knows no man, but the Spirit of God.

Isaiah 55:8, 12, 15, 16

               8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.

*We will only understand the plan of GOD in our lives if He reveals to us.

               12Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is of God; that we might know the   things that are freely given to us of God.

*Holy Spirit is willing to become involved in our lives.

               15But he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

               16For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

This highest level is the best level where GOD wants all of us to live. We desire the Truth, we hunger for the Truth. The person at highest level wants the Truth and applies the Truth and excited about sharing the Truth. We have accepted LORD Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we are sealed with the Holy Spirit. Spirit of GOD dwelling in us. We are owned by GOD, possessed by GOD. We are the children of GOD, adopted to Kingdom of GOD. We have the mind of Christ. We think the way LORD Jesus thinks. Life of Christ lives through us so we live in the strength and power of LORD Jesus Christ.

Therefore we love, we are in peace, and we have contentment, confidence because we know GOD is in control. He will provide every single need we have, we don’t worry about tomorrow because we know it’s in His hand. Our life dominated by the Spirit of GOD, we are dominated by GOD, we surrender our will to GOD Almighty because we want Him to express His life through us. We know that He will see us through. We are weak in flesh and we are not perfect. We have a loving Father who forgiven our sins and committed to our best no matter what.
