John 8:31-36

31Then said Jesus to those Jews who believed on him, If you continue in my word, then are you my disciples indeed;

32And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

33They answered him, We are Abraham’s descendants, and were never in bondage to any man: how say you, You shall be made free?

34Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever commits sin is the servant of sin.

35And the servant abides not in the house forever: but the Son abides ever.

36If the Son therefore shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.

*The person who is slavery of sin cannot break it, sin has its grip on him cannot break out. They are in bondage, they want to break out but cannot. If you are living in sin you are slave.

LORD Jesus Christ is the only one who can break the bondage, power of sin.

Luke 4:18 / Isaiah 61:1

1The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;

The truth will set you free. Only LORD Jesus can set you free, it is a change of mind and change of heart requires you to you surrender your life to Christ.
