Psalm 25:16-18

16Turn to me and be gracious to me,

for I am lonely and afflicted.

17Relieve the troubles of my heart

and free me from my anguish.

18Look on my affliction and my distress

and take away all my sins.

Loneliness is the absent of a relationship, intimacy, feeling of being separated, disconnection that bring fulfilment, joy and completeness.

Loneliness affect your morals in order to fulfil the lack of intimacy, may make the person feel unworthy, and may affect person physical health.

Being alone, solitude is person choice to be alone, time for rediscovery, revitalisation. LORD Jesus used to walk away in order to revitalisation of His physical being.

Loneliness we have to deal with. What causes loneliness?

-death, divorce, anger, hostility shuts people out, sin, if you live in sin and be disobedient to GOD you have internally isolated, if you are not able to accept love from somebody else, unloving relationship in childhood. Love your children.

How you overcome loneliness?

Loneliness started when Adam and Eve sin against GOD Genesis 3:6-9, alienated themselves before GOD.

All over coming loneliness begins with reconciliation with GOD.

Romans 5:10

10For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!

LORD Jesus Christ is our friend. It is the will of the Father that we live in intimate relationship with Him.

Hebrew 13:5

5Let your conduct be without covetousness; and be content with such things as you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake you.

Loneliness is a separation feeling of being disconnected. Solitude is a time, I chose to be alone, time for refreshment, creativity.

It is not GOD’s will for us to be lonely. There is no one on this earth will fulfil your heart. Sense and experience of being connected, bound together is the personal relationship with LORD Jesus Christ.

You have a friend LORD Jesus Christ closer to you than a brother.
