John 15:13

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

John 13:34-35

34A new commandment I give unto you, That you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.

35By this shall all men know that you are my disciples, if you have love one to another.

John 15:12

12This is my commandment, That you love one another, as I have loved you.

Love means a genuine intimate friendship or sacrificial love. A genuine love is denying yourself in another person. Sacrificial love that put LORD Jesus on cross, love that the fruit of the spirit.

Leviticus 19:18

love your neighbour as yourself. I am the LORD.

Deuteronomy 6:5

And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.

Sacrificial love, a true, genuine, godly love. LORD Jesus raised the bar on love. We are to love each other sacrificially, love the LORD, each other and your enemy. Want your enemy to be saved.

The distinguishing mark of being a child of GOD and follower of LORD Jesus is that you love one another.

1 Corinthians 13:1

1Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not love, I am become as sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

You need to be so different than others that by your actions they will know you are a follower of Christ.

1 John 4:7

7Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and everyone that loves is born of God, and knows God.

Ephesians 5:2

2And walk in love,

Walk in love mean life style, sacrificial love. Genuine love is action.

LORD Jesus loved them selflessly, love is about the other person, I want to do my best for you. I want to do whatever I can to help you become the person you ought to be.

He loved them understandingly. He understood where they come from, what they experienced, what’s going on in their life, be willing to understand them. When they are moody, down, excited, not excited, they are trying to say something, going beyond the flesh.

True genuine love sees other person as they are and love them. We have a responsibility to understand people.

Love forgivingly, forgive no matter what. Unforgiven person is unhealthy and unhappy person. LORD Jesus is willing to forgive us no matter what we have done.

Love sacrificially, the highest form of love is to love someone to lay your life to them.

Mark 8:34

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Believer live a life of self-denial. They deny themselves. Love unconditionally.

His love was a substitutionary, atonement, sacrificial death.

Sacrificial love is required of us which is whatever is required of me as a follower of LORD Jesus Christ to give myself to you and do whatever I can for your sake wisely, in discipline fashion, and carefully.

Give them what is wise to give them, it’s for their good. Deny yourself again and again for other person benefit. When you could, you would. I choose to lay down for something I believe for, something I stand for.

Love one to another is powerful, LORD Jesus Christ died on the cross for unconditional divine supernatural love for us.

Genuine sacrificial love at highest form. Acknowledge your sinfulness.

We might suffer when we are doing nothing wrong to get our attention, cleansing, understanding GOD’s word, building our faith, GOD making it clear. GOD ways are not our ways. It is for our best we are to trust GOD. Walk your head high, firm in your faith. GOD loves us, He will be in it with us no matter what. He will see us through it and He will meet our needs and He will guide us through it.

Psalm 55:22

22Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never permit the righteous to be moved.

Psalm 56:11

11In God have I put my trust: I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.

Psalm 57:1-3

1Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusts in you: yea, in the shadow of your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities have passed.

2I will cry unto God most high; unto God who performs all things for me.

3He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth

GOD will never desert His children in times of suffering and He will not desert you.
