Action speaks louder than words

John 14:14-15, 21, 23-24

14If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.

15“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

21Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”

23Jesus answered him, “If anyone loves me, he will keep my word, and my Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him. 24Whoever does not love me does not keep my words. And the word that you hear is not mine but the Father’s who sent me.

Verse 15 I am going to guard the commandments, follow them, treasured them. God’s direction for your life.

Deuteronomy 6:4-7

4“Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. 5You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. 6And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. 7You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise.

Nehemiah 1:4-5

4As soon as I heard these words I sat down and wept and mourned for days, and I continued fasting and praying before the God of heaven. 5And I said, “O Lord God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments,

Daniel 9:4

4I prayed to the Lord my God and made confession, saying, “O Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments,

If you love me you will obey me.

What does GOD want me to do?

I only want to do those things please you Heavenly Father, guide my thoughts, actions, make me go in your strength every day, in LORD Jesus name, amen.
