John 14:14-15, 21, 23-24

14If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

15If you love me, keep my commandments.

21He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

23Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man loves me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

24He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: and the word which you hear is not mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

If you love Me you will follow My truth. My Word you will treasure, you will see it as GOD’s direction in your life, and you will see it as GOD’s personal Word to you on how you ought to live your life. He has the best plan for you, stored up the best blessings for you and if we choose to walk on His way, we would experience GOD’s very best in our life.

LORD says if you love Me you will keep My Word.

If people are not obedient to GOD, they are sinful and self-centred in their life style.

If we keep LORD’s commandments that’s what motivates me. It is our life style, the way we think and do daily. We always do and think what pleases Father, that’s where our heart is. Holiness is a way of life for us.

We are saved and sanctified, set apart for a holy and righteous living, obedient living to the LORD.

Deuteronomy 6:4-7

4Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:

5And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.

6And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart:

7And you shall teach them diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up.

He is linking love with obedience.

Nehemiah 1:4-5

4And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,

5And said, I beseech you, O LORD God of heaven, the great and awesome God, that keeps covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:

He is linking love with obedience.

Daniel 9:4

4And I prayed unto the LORD my God, and made my confession, and said, O Lord, the great and awesome God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love him, and to them that keep his commandments;

If we love someone we obey, if you love someone we won’t treat them that way. It is the same way for our love with GOD.

GOD is linking love with obedience.

GOD’s ultimate love for us is cross, He gave us His only begotten Son our LORD Jesus Christ.

Love equals obedience.

Let words of my month and my actions be acceptable to you my LORD. I only want to do things pleases you my GOD. I will go at your strength my LORD.
