Romans 14:12

So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

Accountability implies responsibility, give an explanation of our accountability for each other and to GOD.

LORD Jesus was accountable to GOD.

John 8:28

28Then said Jesus unto them, When you have lifted up the Son of man, then shall you know that I am he, and that I do nothing of myself; but as my Father has taught me, I speak these things.

The disciples are accountable to LORD Jesus.

Luke 10:1-3

1After this the Lord appointed seventy-two others and sent them two by two ahead of him to every town and place where he was about to go. 2He told them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. 3Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.

Whole church is accountable to Christ.

Ephesians 5:24

24Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.

Apostle Paul accountability to church in Acts 14.

Accountability for each other.

Ephesians 5:21

21Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.

Children are accountable to their parents.

Ephesians 6:1

1Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

Slaves accountable to their master.

Ephesians 6:5

5Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.

1 Peter 5:8

8Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour:

We have adversary walks about to destroy our testimony. When we are the most vulnerable to defeat enemy attacks us.

Therefore it is always wise to have somebody to give account of your life.

*someone who walks in the Spirit, whose life is godly

*they will keep it to themselves what you share with them

*person who gives you godly wisdom based on scriptures

*someone who allow you to be the person who you are

*person who has courage to confront you in love to edify

*person who is forgiving

*person who is sensitive to your needs who understands you

*person who is an encourager by heart

*person who is always looking out for your interest

Someone who loves you and loves LORD Jesus Christ who is willing to be your accountability, who will sharpen us and will keep us on track and grow us spiritually. By finding someone like this you are building godly defence against the enemy.

Each one of us will give an account of ourselves to GOD.

Romans 14:12

12So then, each of us will give an account of ourselves to God.

Luke 12:48

48“Much is given much is required.”

Matthew 25:28

28“ ‘So take the bag of gold from him and give it to the one who has ten bags. 29For whoever has will be given more, and they will have an abundance. Whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.

2 Corinthians 5:10

10“For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each of us may receive what is due us for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad.”

Hebrews 9:27

27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

All accountability given to LORD Jesus Christ. If you trust LORD Jesus Christ you are saved forever.

1 Corinthians 3:12-15

12If anyone builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, 13their work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. 14If what has been built survives, the builder will receive a reward. 15If it is burned up, the builder will suffer loss but yet will be saved—even though only as one escaping through the flames.

If you are wise, make a wise investment into eternal life.
