Luke 2:8-14

8And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”

13Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,

14“Glory to God in the highest heaven,

and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.”

Christmas is all about Jesus, Jesus is all about saving you, Jesus is all about changing your life, Jesus is all about brand new beginning, and Jesus is all about eternal life.

The birth of LORD Jesus was announced by a heavenly angel sent by Almighty GOD to give direction and explanation to what’s going on. Scripture says multitude of the heavenly host appeared with the angel. When GOD announced the birth of LORD Jesus, He put on the biggest display that should itself tells you about His importance and His message of importance.

GOD said He is a Saviour. If you refuse to believe Saviour you will be eternally separated from GOD who created you and you will be punished according to your sins.

1 Peter 18-21

18For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, 19but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. 20He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake. 21Through him you believe in God, who raised him from the dead and glorified him, and so your faith and hope are in God.

SAVIOUR; LORD Jesus is our Saviour, He is the Son of GOD who laid down His life on the cross and that’s the way we are forgiven of our sins, scripture says His atoning death.

Ephesians 1:7-8

7In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace 8that he lavished on us. With all wisdom and understanding,

In order for us to have a relationship with GOD, GOD had to do something. GOD sent His only begotten Son LORD Jesus Christ for the purpose of dying. He was born of a virgin, He did not have an earthly father. He is absolutely sinless.

Colossians 1:13-15

13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.

You are either walking in the darkness or in the light. If you have never trusted LORD Jesus Christ as your Saviour you are walking in the darkness, you are not happy.

He is one true GOD, He is our Saviour. He is Christ the anointed one.

Colossians 2:3-4

3in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments.

When you understand who LORD Jesus is you begin to understand what life is all about, you begin to understand who GOD is, what the Holy Spirit is all about. Things begin to fall in place when you begin to understand who LORD Jesus is.

Oneness of GOD head; GOD the Father, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Spirit; three persons of the GOD head. It is the GOD who expresses Himself, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

When you trust LORD Jesus Christ as your Saviour, you get the GOD the Father and you receive the power of Spirit of GOD within you to enable you to become to do all the things GOD wants you to become to do.

LORD; Lord Jesus Christ is the Messiah, He is the Christ and He is the LORD.

John 8:18-19

18I am one who testifies for myself; my other witness is the Father, who sent me.”

19Then they asked him, “Where is your father?” “You do not know me or my Father,” Jesus replied. “If you knew me, you would know my Father also.”

John 10:28-30

28I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. 29My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all ; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 30I and the Father are one.”

Once you are saved with the grace of GOD, you are eternally saved.

LORD Jesus Christ came as our Saviour sent by the Father to do His work, primarily to die on the cross, shed His blood to make it possible for you to be saved. We are sealed by the Holy Spirit.

Romans 10:9-11, 13

9If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 13for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

The Holy Spirit gave you capacity to understand what Christ is all about and His death on the cross. GOD the Son in Jesus who is also Messiah, the LORD, all of these words referring to the same person. Spirit of GOD enables us to understand it.

GOD is eternal creator who sent LORD Jesus Christ to be our redeemer, the Holy Spirit to be our enabler. One true GOD hates the sin, loves us, provided us with His best in order for us to live out this life by the power of the Holy Spirit and He has written our name in the Lamb Books of life. He will call you home one day and before whom you will give an account of your life and you will be rewarded according to life you live.

You cannot walk in the darkness and the light. If you are walking in the darkness you are walking apart from GO; GOD the Father, GOD the Son and GOD the Holy Spirit. GOD has the best provided for us.

John 3:16

16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

GOD willing to forgive of our sins based on the fact that virgin born of Son of GOD came into this world to sacrifice Himself on the cross, shedding His blood and making it possible for all of us to be forgiven of our sins. We are saved through the blood of LORD Jesus Christ. GOD came Himself in the person of LORD Jesus Christ in order to die on the cross, shed His blood which was a payment for our sins. When we are willing to accept LORD Jesus Christ as our LORD, we are forgiven of our sins not based on what we do but based on what He did and sent His Holy Spirit to enable us to understand it and give us the faith and capacity to trust Him.

GOD does not want anyone to be lost. GOD so loved the world He gave us His only begotten Son. When you receive LORD Jesus Christ as your Saviour you are receiving the Father and the Holy Spirit.

Your salvation is based on your response to LORD Jesus as your personal Saviour. We are all accountable to Him. If I am accepting Him as my personal Saviour I am forgiven and GOD will work in my life because of grace of Almighty GOD. It is yours for the asking, if you will.
