Ephesians 6:10-12

10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.

When we begin to understand the wiles of the devil we will begin to understand how to respond.

A satanic attack is a deliberate wilful assault by Satan to an individual with a purpose to bring them harm, harming their spirit, soul or body in order to draw us away from GOD, in order to throw GOD’s purpose in our life, in order to deny GOD His honour and glory that belongs to Him and to destroy us. He is deceptive and a liar.

Know how to deal with it. When GOD brings something to your mind write it down.

2 Corinthians 11:3

3But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his cunning, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

Apostle Paul was warning them. Satan starts His temptation in mind. The enemy always walk in camouflage. We war with Satan every day.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5

4For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;

5casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

If Satan defeats you an area in your life, he will come back to same place. Take control of your thinking it is the battle ground. Every thought to be captive to the obedience to Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:3-4

3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. 4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

The unbelievers are blinded to the truth of the gospel. Because GOD’s Word is to keep us holy and righteous. If you are blinded you will not walk in it. The truth sets us free. The truth of gospel shine lights to the heart of the person, revealing who Christ is.

Satan lies and present the temptation to mind. Control your thoughts. Your temptation will rationalise your behaviour.

His strategy;

-Directs our attention to specific need or desire. He gets us to get something that you wished but you never had it. He will get you focus on something you don’t have and you forget what you have. He does not want you think about the consequences. Makes us to think we have to have it then in order to satisfy ourselves at the expense of GOD’s purpose and plan in our life.

-Satan chooses his time. When we are most vulnerable. He will attack us when we stand firm and strong.

Don’t get yourself;

Hungry

Angry

Lonely

Tired

At any warfare the timing is very important. Satan knows your lowest moments. The more effective, holy and righteous in Christ you are he will attack more. Correct yourself. We are not immune the satanic attacks.

–Do not doubt GOD’s Word. GOD deals with an area in your life. GOD gave us the Bible because it’s our instruction manual. We are not perfect. We acknowledge our sinfulness but disobedience will bring down GOD’s heavy hand against you. LORD Jesus said he is a liar and father of all liars.

We are GOD’s prized possession for GOD’s glory and honour that’s what Satan tries to destroy.

-To get you in debate, wants to get you engage in conversation. Do not debate with devil you cannot win.

John 8:44

44You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

You cannot win a debate with a person who is father of all liars, cunning and deceiving. Do not debate with the devil.

Deception is his style to get you believe something that it is not true. People believe devil’s lies.

Revelation 12:9

9The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

*Spend time with Word of GOD, mediate in Word of GOD. Listen the messages and apply them to your heart. If you don’t know the truth you will be deceived.

Therefore do not expect to debate with him and come up with the truth. He makes you choose present moment, camouflage the future and the consequences of your actions. He wants you to think the present need and desires.

-creates division, away from GOD.

Understand each other, encourage one another.

-Satan destroys your peace, joy, happiness and contentment, drive you away from GOD. He knows he will spend the eternity in hell. He tries to destroy everything that brings glory and honour to GOD.

Understand his tacking. Survive them, walk through them. Walk godly before GOD.
