When you trust the LORD Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, immediately the Holy Spirit comes and seals you as a child of GOD. That’s the reason we know we are eternally secured. It is His work not our conduct that makes us acceptable to GOD.

Holy Spirit seals us and equips us to do whatever we are called to do. GOD intended for us to allow Holy Spirit to live within us the life of LORD Jesus Christ. We are already empowered by the Holy Spirit to live and face any situation and any circumstances of life.

Patience is a gift of GOD through the Holy Spirit, when you are saved He sealed you as one of His children and He began to release in your life if you allow Him the fruit of the Spirit love, joy, peace, patience. It is essential that we experience GOD’s patience in our life because it effects everything we do. GOD gave us a compass the Holy Spirit, He gave us sense of direction the Holy Spirit so that we don’t have to go through life making decisions that we would regret. One of the primary objective of Holy Spirit is to enable us walk patiently in our Christian life.

Galatians 5:22

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

Psalm 27:14

Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

We have to be strong and we have to take courage. Sometime pressure is there for us to make decision in our life, He says wait.

 Psalm 37:7

Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

Psalm 40:1

I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Patience is very important in every aspect of our life. Patience is the quite, uncomplaining endurance under stress or annoyance.

Patience is will to wait.

We wait for the LORD because GOD with His infinite love and power for us knows at certain times in our life certain things does not fit to who we are in LORD Jesus Christ.

He created us to live for Him, serve Him and reflect Him. He created us to live out the life He placed within us.

GOD is our greatest protector when GOD says no, it is a word of protection.

Are you a patient person? Do you calmly tolerate the delays GOD places in your life and says no?

When you are saved you are sealed as child of GOD, Holy Spirit comes to live in you 24 hrs a day and your name is written in the Lambs Book of life. He lives in you to direct you, to give you clarity and direction in every aspect of your life.

LORD Jesus said to His disciples “But you shall receive power, after the Holy Spirit has come upon you: and you shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts 1:8.

You can expect Holy Spirit to express Himself in the following way love, joy, peace, patience so that the one living within you willing to direct you at every circumstances of your life.

Requirements for patience

*Faith in GOD, He directs you every time.

*Have an obedient spirit, chose to obey GOD, Holy Spirit gives us guidance to follow Him.

*Discernment of GOD’s timing, Holy Spirit will shows us when. Ask the Heavenly Father to give you grace to wait.

*Love GOD, if I love Him I will be patient. GOD’s love for us has no limitation. GOD wants the best for His children. Be      willing to wait when necessary.

*Courage, it takes courage to trust Him and wait.

*Determination to wait.

Psalm 32:8

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with my eye.

Patience is a fruit of the Spirit. It is a gift from GOD which means you have within you the capacity to make wise choices. The Spirit of GOD will exercise patience in you, for you, to you, through you, on your behalf because that’s the will of GOD for us that we follow His will, walk on His way. GOD knows there are difficult times, difficult situations we face and sometimes we don’t know what to do. He is there to show us what to do. If you are Christian, if you trusted LORD Jesus Christ as your Saviour you have within you the ultimate counsellor, He will direct you. GOD will not withhold the truth, He will not withhold the wise counsel from you. He loves you unconditionally, He wants the best for you no matter what.

Patience is essential to experiencing GOD’s best

*to live life of obedience to GOD. If I am going to obey GOD I must listen to Him, I must hear Him and I must obey Him. I must be willing to give up your own personal opinions and desires. Whenever GOD says no to you He is saying that I love you.

*to build good relationship with other people. It is a requirement to be able to get along in life.

*to know His timing. GOD is always there to give you clear direction in your life if you willing to wait for Him until GOD tells you what to do. Do you value the wisdom of GOD to wait till He makes it clear what you should do? GOD loves us, always wants the best for us. When GOD asks you to wait, He is saying to you I am loving you. Patience is willing to wait.

*To see Him at work. GOD will finally bring it to conclusion and we will give thanks to GOD for making us to wait. GOD loves you, He has created you, He has a purpose in your life and He will make it clear if you ask Him and relax. Ask GOD and wait till He says this is the moment. You will never lose waiting upon GOD.

Trust Him, listen to Him and wait for Him and watch to see what happens.

Don’t live outside the will of GOD, because to do so is living outside the blessing of GOD.
