Reasons to believe the Bible

The Bible says who calls in the name of the LORD will be saved.

Romans 10:13

for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

1 Peter 1:22-25

22Seeing you have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto sincere love of the brethren, see that you love one another with a pure heart fervently:

23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.

24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower thereof falls away:

25But the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Mark 7:6-13

6He answered and said unto them, Well has Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honour me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

7But in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

8For laying aside the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such things you do.

9And he said unto them, Full well you reject the commandment of God, that you may keep your own tradition.

10For Moses said, Honour your father and your mother; and, Whoever curses father or mother, let him die the death:

11But you say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift devoted to God, whatsoever you might have received from me; he shall be free.

12And you allow him no more to do anything for his father or his mother;

13Making the word of God of no effect through your tradition, which you have delivered: and many such things do you.

*LORD Jesus affirmed the truthfulness of Old Testament, the prophecy of Isaiah is a living Word of GOD.

Isaiah 7:14

14Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

Micah 5:2

2But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting.

Isaiah 53:4-6

4Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted.

5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

6All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned everyone to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

 Jeremiah 25:3-11

3From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD has come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but you have not hearkened.

4And the LORD has sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but you have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.

5They said, Turn you again now everyone from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD has given unto you and to your fathers forever and ever:

6And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no harm.

7Yet you have not hearkened unto me, says the LORD; that you might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own harm.

8Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts; because you have not heard my words,

9Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, says the LORD, and Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against its inhabitants, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and a hissing, and perpetual desolations.

10Moreover I will take from them the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the lamp.

11And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.

*Fulfilled prophecies. It is the evidence that the Bible is written by GOD, not by man.

*66 man written it over 3 continents. You will know exactly what GOD is up to. Bible is a story of GOD’s redeeming love in order to free them and become the man and woman GOD wants us to be.

GOD planned the redemption Genesis 1-2 because GOD knew human will fall. Genesis 12 GOD preparing the redemption through Abraham, through that nation, through Judah came the Messiah.

When you trusted LORD Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour you became GOD’s biggest final plan for redeeming mankind.
