LORD Jesus was on a divine mission and He was going to fulfil that mission no matter what.

Matthew 28:1-6

1At the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.

2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

3His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow:

4And for fear of him the guards did shake, and became as dead men.

5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not: for I know that you seek Jesus, who was crucified.

6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

40One of the two who heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.

41He first found his own brother Simon, and said unto him, we have found the Messiah, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.

  • He came to sacrifice His life on the cross for our sins

16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever;

17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.

Every single is sealed by the Holy Spirit of promise. That seal cannot be broken, you are child of GOD. Holy Spirit came to dwell in us, teach us, guide us, lead us for the things we cannot do ourselves to accomplish GOD purpose in us.

42Watch therefore: for you know not what hour your Lord does come.

43But know this that if the owner of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.

44Therefore be you also ready: for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.
