We live in the now generation. Whatever you want you can get it now one way or other mentality.

Genesis 25:25-34

25And the first came out red, all over like a hairy garment; and they called his name Esau.

26And after that came his brother out, and his hand took hold on Esau’s heel; and his name was called Jacob: and Isaac was three score years old when she bore them.

27And the boys grew: and Esau was a skilful hunter, a man of the field; and Jacob was a quiet man, dwelling in tents.

28And Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison: but Rebekah loved Jacob.

Esau Sells His Birth right

29And Jacob boiled pottage: and Esau came from the field, and he was faint:

30And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray you, with that same red pottage; for I am faint: therefore was his name called Edom.

31And Jacob said, Sell me this day your birth right.

32And Esau said, Behold, I am at the point of death: and what profit shall this birth right be to me?

33And Jacob said, Swear to me this day; and he swore unto him: and he sold his birth right unto Jacob.

34Then Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils; and he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way: thus Esau despised his birth right.

This is how it is in today’s society. They have a strong desire for everything and can get what they want and they only live for today, they don’t think tomorrow, they only think fun of it.

We sacrifice our future;

*When we insist on immediate fulfilment of our desires we sacrifice our future. They sacrifice their future for the pleasure of the moment. They don’t think about consequences about their actions.

The Ten Commandments tell us what to, what not to do.

David, Samson are examples; we reap what we sow, later than we sow.

*when our focus is on the worldly rather than the eternal.

*When we make irrecoverable decisions in periods of physical and emotional weakness.

GOD wants you to have it at proper time, at the right time. It is a now generation, I want it now.

GOD knows your sins. Nobody in the world may ever know but GOD knows.

Forgive all, LORD Jesus forgiven us. We have no justification for unforgiveness no matter what people done to us.

Commit yourself to the LORD, submit yourself to His way.
