Psalm 105:1-4

1O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.

2Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk of all his wondrous works.

3Glory in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

4Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.

Seeking the LORD means I want to go further in my relationship. That’s mean we come to Him, asking direction, seeking to build deeper intimate relationship with Him. He said He has predestined us to conform to image of LORD Jesus Christ that will involve having an intimate relationship with Him.

Seeking the LORD means I want to know more about Him, I want to have more intimate relationship, I want to talk to Him, I want to listen to Him, I want to have a conversation with Him, I want to be able to observe His work in my life in some fashion.

He desires us to seek Him, He wants us to get to know Him. He does not wants us to be satisfy where we are in our Christian life. The more satisfied I become with the LORD creates more hunger and desire to know Him because we will never fathom Him.

Christian life is a serious business and having a serious relationship with GOD who promise us awesome things.

Isaiah 59:2

2But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

-If you have not trusted LORD Jesus Christ you have no relationship with GOD.

Romans 1:18-19

18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

19Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God has showed it unto them.

-GOD’s wrath on those who turned away.

Romans 1:28

28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not proper;

–When a person lives in sin over and over again and refuse the Gospel, reject the Gospel their heart is hardened. They cannot form right judgement. GOD wrath lays upon them.

When you trust LORD Jesus Christ as your Saviour you are like a baby, you are born again. GOD wants you grow in your Christian life. We are predestined to conform to likeness of His Son. He wants us to know Him intimately. He will turn everything to our good.

John 3:16

16For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

If you love Him you will seek to know Him better. Listening and watching and observing.

He will also open our eye to see how He operates in other people’s lives. He is fathomless.

What’s required of me

*Seek Him with all our heart. He is our priority, He is the most important person in our lives.

 Isaiah 55:6-7

6Seek you the LORD while he may be found, call you upon him while he is near:

7Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

If I love Him I am willing to get rid of all the stuff that does not fit in my life.

Deuteronomy 4:19

19And lest you lift up your eyes unto heaven, and when you see the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, should be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the LORD your God has apportioned unto all nations under the whole heaven.

We are to be with all our heart seeking Him.

Psalm 42:1

1As the hart pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul after you, O God.

As we seek the LORD we become anchored to Him, the wind of adversity may blow but you can rely on LORD Jesus Christ to stop from drifting.

Intimate relationship with LORD Jesus Christ provides peace, comfort, assurance and strength that nothing else can match.
