We are in a battle for our spiritual life. Preparation for the battle.

Ephesian 6:10-18

10Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

11Put on the whole armour of God that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.

13Therefore take unto you the whole armour of God that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14Stand therefore, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16Above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

17And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thus with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

2 Timothy 2:3-4

3You therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

4No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who has chosen him to be a soldier.

2 Corinthians 10:4

4For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds;

We are in a spiritual battle therefore we need to put on a full armour of GOD.

Helmet of salvation thoughts that pleases the LORD.

Breastplate of righteousness to protect my emotions. LORD please do not let me respond by my emotions.

Girded about with truth walk in the truth share the truth which is Word of GOD.

Sandals of peace I want to be peace maker and share the gospel of LORD Jesus Christ in such a way that will bring peace in the mist of conflict.

Shield of faith no matter how bad or intense the enemy attracts are we are victorious.

Sword of the Spirit Word of GOD sharing it with others use it as an offensive weapon

We cannot predict when the spiritual attack will be but we can prepare ourselves.
