Do you consider yourself kind person? Are you generous, patient, easy going, warm hearted, thoughtful, fun to be with?

A kind person is a person who stands out in the crowd. Something about a kind person it is a build attraction. When a person is kind it not only shows on their face also on their actions.

Galatians 5:22

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness.

Ephesians 4:32

32Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

Colossians 3:12

12Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

It is a responsibility of a child of GOD to be kind. We have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit who is the source of our kindness. Be thoughtful of others. We have the capacity to be kind to people. Kindness is very Christ like characteristic.

Blind Bartimaeus Receives His Sight

46Then they came to Jericho. As Jesus and his disciples, together with a large crowd, were leaving the city, a blind man, Bartimaeus (which means “son of Timaeus”), was sitting by the roadside begging. 47When he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to shout, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”

48Many rebuked him and told him to be quiet, but he shouted all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”

49Jesus stopped and said, “Call him.”

So they called to the blind man, “Cheer up! On your feet! He’s calling you.” 50 Throwing his cloak aside, he jumped to his feet and came to Jesus.

51“What do you want me to do for you?” Jesus asked him.

The blind man said, “Rabbi, I want to see.”

52“Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road.

Kindness is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. Kindness is a build in attraction, sensitive to other people needs. Kindness is a trait. One of the expression of the Holy Spirit is kindness.

Titus 3:4-6

4But after the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit;

6Whom he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

Kindness responds kindly even in difficult situations.

Romans 2:4

4Or despise you the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leads you to repentance?

GOD is always kind, strong, and thoughtful. GOD will reward you for your kindness. Concrete element in godliness. It is a strong, vibrant, godly trait to be kind.

*Provide for our needs

*Protection

*Answered prayer is an act of GOD’s kindness

*Gift of Eternal Life

*He saved us knowing that we don’t always obey Him, sometime we get out of His will, and sometime we wouldn’t act very Godly. He saved us knowing that some time we would be selfish, prideful, arrogant, sometime we wouldn’t be fit to live with. He not only saved us but he reached us to put His divine, supernatural, awesome loving hand upon us to keep us until the last moment of our life when He takes us home to Himself. That’s unbelievable act of kindness of GOD.

*Promises He has kept. Every promise GOD made to His children He would keep every single one of them but you would pay the penalty for disobedience even though you are child of GOD. When GOD makes a promise He would keep it. If you step out of GOD’s will He would chastise us out of love when we disobey Him. People go thorough very difficult hardship in life because they didn’t keep His word, they didn’t obey Him.

Galatians 6:7

7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap.

GOD is kind no matter what. If He didn’t keep His promise we would never know where we are with Him.

Ezekiel 18:4

4The one who sins is the one who will die.

Its awesome warning of GOD. It is a warning because He loves us. He is kind to us He wants to tell us ahead of time what would happen if we don’t repent of our sins. GOD keeps to His Word, He is the truth.

Kindness involves, truthfulness, discipline, instruction, love, gentleness.

*His presence is with us. GOD says “I will never leave you nor forsake you” Hebrews 13:5.

Our life style should be expression of kindness of GOD.

Proverbs 19:22

22The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.

Proverbs 3:3

3Let not mercy and truth forsake you: bind them about your neck; write them upon the table of your heart:

Zechariah 7:9

9Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and show mercy and compassion every man to his brother:

Practice kindness because it doesn’t always come easily.

1 Peter 2:3

3If so be you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

If you are not kind you will be shamed. Kindness is a gift of GOD. We are the channels of Almighty GOD who speaks kindness through us.

Just do the things proper from GOD’s point of view. Kindness will change the atmosphere around you. Kindness changes everything.
