Psalm 23:1-4

A psalm of David.

1The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.

2He makes me lie down in green pastures,

he leads me beside quiet waters,

3he refreshes my soul.

He guides me along the right paths

for his name’s sake.

4Even though I walk

through the darkest valley,

I will fear no evil,

for you are with me;

your rod and your staff,

they comfort me.

GOD works in the lives of His servants, He provides their needs on the basis of His love and kindness towards us. Our awareness of His presence is vital in our lives.

Enoch walked with GOD and Noah who was persecuted for what he was doing, GOD said I am with you. GOD said to Abraham get up and leave your family go to the land I am going to show you. He didn’t tell him where he was going first, He said I will be with you. GOD gave Moses the challenge to go and spoke to Pharaoh, GOD said I am with you.

Exodus 33:15 “Then Moses said to him, “If your Presence does not go with us, do not send us up from here.”

GOD said to Joshua, I will be with you. To Gideon GOD said, I will be with you. David said, My God will deliver you in my hands. When He called Isaiah, GOD said I will be with you. He said to Jeremiah, I am going with you. LORD Jesus said to His disciples, I will be with you till end of the age. He said I will come back to you.

Holy Spirit enable us to live Godly life in an ungodly world. Apostle Paul relied on the LORD always. He said “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” 2 Timothy 4:7.

When you trust LORD Jesus as your Saviour, you have LORD Jesus in your life, just as much they had. He said I am not going to leave you orphans. It’s the awareness of His presence we need to understand. LORD Jesus is same yesterday, today and forever. He has not changed.

John 14:12

“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”

I am going to send you the Holy Spirit, He will be in you, with you, upon you. The power of GOD is upon His servants. He equip you to do whatever he has called you to do. It’s the fact He promised us. Bring people to saving knowledge of Christ. Spirit of GOD living within us. GOD desires us to live with awareness of His presence in your life. When you trust LORD Jesus Christ as your Saviour He seals you forever as a child of GOD.

Ephesians 1:13

13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

Evidence of our awareness of GOD’s presence

< He is continually in our thoughts

< We continually seeking His guidance – ask GOD give you wisdom to handle it.

< We must view Him as our constant companion – You cannot have a better companion than LORD Jesus Christ. He is still there.

< We view everything in light of His presence.

< We have peace in the midst of storms. I am in this with GOD. Holy Spirit of GOD will guide me through this, help me, comfort me, and assure me whatever needs to be done.

< Creates a hunger in our heart for the Word of GOD. He speaks to you because He has something to say or triggers your mind to think of something you will face later on the day.

< We have a joy in our heart. You are never alone. He is present with us. Awareness of His presence changes everything.

< We are more conscious of the good things that GOD sends us. “Every good present is from above” How blessed we are!

< We feel a continuing dependence upon Him. GOD help me.

< Prayer is a priority in our life. Talk out loud to the LORD.

< We continue to have hope, even when things look hopeless.

< We sift every decision through His will. LORD what is your will? LORD give me the right answer to whatever the question is. Run everything by Him.

< We view our needs in the light of His presence. Life becomes peaceful.

< Our worship is more real and rewarding.

< We walk in obedience to GOD as a way of life. I am saint saved by the grace of GOD.

< We have a stronger and intimate relationship with LORD Jesus.
