GOD always provides His best. The key that unlocks GOD’s treasure house is faith. Trust Him, believe Him, and follow Him.

He teaches faith by the life of others in His Word. The principles are always there. GOD always call us, move us forward by faith.

Call of faith, our faith is hearing what GOD wants us to do and being obedient to do it.

Genesis 12:1-5

1Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get you out of your country, and from your kindred, and from your father’s house, unto a land that I will show you:

2And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing:

3And I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you: and in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.

4So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.

5And Abram took Sarai his wife, and Lot his brother’s son, and all their possessions that they had gathered, and the souls that they had gotten in Haran; and they went forth to go into the land of Canaan; and into the land of Canaan they came.

Psalm 103:7

7He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

Ways of GOD – how GOD works;

GOD called all of us to salvation. We live by faith and He always moves us forward never backwards. Even when we go through the deep dark valley. Often times GOD leads us to those valleys for a specific reason.

*The call of faith often times is a call to step out into unknown, to go where we are unfamiliar to some area or direction that untried and it is unknown to us. If it was known, it won’t be by faith. So many times GOD challenges us to do something or to go or to give that unfamiliar. And whatever He called you to step into He is going to see that He will get you there. All of heavens power behind GOD to get you where He wants you to go. Our response is to trust Him.

He calls us to follow Him by faith. Afterwards you can see that it was very reasonable. The first step is always the most difficult one because of unknown. It is a step of faith. GOD knows everything perfectly He can see all nothing is unknown to Him. Don’t tell your friends what GOD tells you unless GOD gives you permission because if GOD ask you to do it He will not ask someone else to do it, often times your friends will be threaten by your faith and courage and they wish GOD will do something like that in their life.

Hebrews 11:8

8By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should later receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing where he went.

I follow by faith without knowing what to do next. GOD took him through it and Abraham followed Him.

*A call to separation. A call of faith is a call of separation. Faith does not guarantee me details, faith says I am going to trust GOD a step at a time and I don’t know where it will lead me. Sometime we miss out on GOD’s best because we don’t want to let go friends and security and comfort zone. Whatever GOD calls you to do is much better than what you have at present. Because call of faith is a call forward. He is building something in my life. He is getting me ready for something better, to His will in my life. If I am in the will of GOD, It is always going to be better.

Trusting GOD means sometime tearing yourself away from people. GOD will not call you to disobey Him, to follow Him. These steps are eternal steps. When you look back you will say thank GOD, I have put all that behind, look at this! If you don’t separate yourself from people to do what GOD called you to do, it will cost you, you will suffer from consequences and you will be disciplined. It might be difficult to follow GOD. Sometime its parent’s selfishness does not want to let the child go, sometime it’s our selfishness we don’t want to let go what we think is good and secure to us.

*Call of GOD always includes promises of blessings. When GOD said I will bless you He did not give any details. You just do what GOD tells you to do. Call of faith is that you don’t have to have any detail. Abraham trusted GOD he took all and left.

2 Chronicles 20:20

Believe in the LORD your God, so shall you be established; believe his prophets, so shall you prosper.

LORD Jesus says follow me you will have the treasures in heaven.

Matthew 19:21

21Jesus said unto him, If you will be perfect, go and sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

The same promise is true in our lives today. As a result of their obedience so many people gets saved today. Our security is in the will of GOD. When you are in the will of GOD you will have everything you need. My obedience prove my belief. Look beyond the hurt, it gets absolutely fantastic. Abraham looked beyond, not to dessert.

*The call of faith involves testing and trials. You will get in trouble sometime with the people dearest to you. You need to separate yourself from your family because GOD will ask to separate ourselves from anything as ultimately it will interfere with GOD’s will in our life. He wants to get rid of that because He knows it will be testing and trial times. If I have excess baggage in my life when the trial comes, naturally I will rely upon this excess baggage that GOD does not intent it to be part of our life. You got to leave them behind so we can be tested. We will all be tested for our faith. Follow by faith do not fear because if you fear you will start trying to figure out your circumstances when things get tough.

Anytime you take your eyes off the Father and focus on your circumstances and try to figure it out you get in trouble. You get yourself and others in trouble.

Genesis 12:10-17

10And there was a famine in the land: and Abram went down into Egypt to sojourn there; for the famine was severe in the land.

11And it came to pass, when he came near to enter into Egypt, that he said unto Sarai his wife, Behold now, I know that you are a fair woman to look upon:

12Therefore it shall come to pass, when the Egyptians shall see you, that they shall say, This is his wife: and they will kill me, but they will save you alive.

13Say, I pray you, that you are my sister: that it may be well with me for your sake; and my soul shall live because of you.

He asked her to lie.

14And it came to pass, that, when Abram came into Egypt, the Egyptians beheld the woman that she was very fair.

15The princes also of Pharaoh saw her, and commended her before Pharaoh: and the woman was taken into Pharaoh’s house.

16And he treated Abram well for her sake: and he had sheep, and oxen, and male donkeys, and menservants, and maidservants, and female donkeys, and camels.

17And the LORD afflicted Pharaoh and his house with great plagues because of Sarai Abram’s wife.

GOD protected him and Abraham walked out wealthy.

Genesis 12:1-2

1Now Sarai Abram’s wife bore him no children: and she had a handmaid, an Egyptian, whose name was Hagar.

2And Sarai said unto Abram, Behold now, the LORD has restrained me from bearing: I pray you, go in unto my maid; it may be that I may obtain children by her. And Abram hearkened to the voice of Sarai.

We are created to live for Christ, to live for Christ and obey Him and follow Him. GOD made Abraham a great man and all of us have been blessed through him.

It looks like Abraham repented because;

Genesis 13:4

4Unto the place of the altar, which he had made there at the first: and there Abram called on the name of the LORD.

GOD is offering you His blessing if you trust Him. Just trust Him. You don’t have to figure it out. Let Him demonstrate His awesome power, His greatness and blessing of GOD in times of your need. In obedience we are to enjoy His best, His blessings.
