Hebrews 11:23-29

23By faith Moses’ parents hid him for three months after he was born, because they saw he was no ordinary child, and they were not afraid of the king’s edict.

24By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be known as the son of Pharaoh’s daughter. 25He chose to be mistreated along with the people of God rather than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. 26He regarded disgrace for the sake of Christ as of greater value than the treasures of Egypt, because he was looking ahead to his reward. 27By faith he left Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger; he persevered because he saw him who is invisible. 28By faith he kept the Passover and the application of blood, so that the destroyer of the firstborn would not touch the firstborn of Israel.

29By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.

* Tough times are inescapable, everyone goes through tough times, some of those tough times we bring on ourselves, some as result of what GOD does in our life. When we disobey GOD and get ahead of GOD, when we want what we want, how we want, where we want it and we get in trouble.

GOD place us there in tough times. After 40 years in dessert, Moses had nothing to depend upon, the only thing Moses had is GOD.

Are you in tough times because of what you did or GOD placed you there for a specific reason.

How do we respond them?

* Tough times either develop us or destroys us. Develop, edified, character built in them.

Apostle Paul was persecuted during whole ministry time. He lived in tough times and wrote the books of Bibles in prison. Some of the most Godly people gone through most difficult times, heartache, heart break, sorrow, lost, criticism, and precaution. They come out Godly, strong, courageous, believing, giants of GOD who ordinary people but ordinary people who learned the key of surviving tough times in life.

GOD stripped everything Moses depend upon on, the only thing he had is Sovereign, loving, faithful, GOD. It destroys some, it builds others depends on their response.

Moses hold out even under most pressure he endured because he saw Him who is invisible. Learn to walk in the continuing awareness you are walking in the presence of GOD. His focus was upon GOD. He saw everything in the presence of GOD, under the control of GOD. Sovereign, faithful, loving GOD, who controls all. He heard the GOD, LORD said ‘I will be with you’. Moses learned walking in the presence of GOD. That’s why he said to Pharaoh “This is what the LORD says” to let people go fearlessly. Because he stood in the presence of GOD.

Exodus 3:10-14, 20

10So now, go. I am sending you to Pharaoh to bring my people the Israelites out of Egypt.”

11But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh and bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”

12And God said, “I will be with you. And this will be the sign to you that it is I who have sent you: When you have brought the people out of Egypt, you will worship God on this mountain.”

13Moses said to God, “Suppose I go to the Israelites and say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’ and they ask me, ‘What is his name?’ Then what shall I tell them?”

14God said to Moses, “I am who I am. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I am has sent me to you.’ 

20So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go.

John 3:3, 5

3Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

5Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.

Unless you are born again, become a new creation in Christ you will not be able to perceive, understand GOD ways.

The moment you are saved the Holy Spirit came to your life, He gave you spiritual capacity to see Kingdom of GOD. We live in two words at the same time, we walk on two place at the same time. The physical world we live in, there is the spiritual realm we live and walk in.

Our home is in heaven we are here for season of time till GOD takes us home then we will be home, this is not our home, the spiritual realm that GOD has provided. We live in two worlds and walk in two planes, physically because we are here on this world and spiritually in relationship to GOD. That’s why they don’t understand us, persecute Christians, that’s why they laugh at you, because you are not of this world, we are transformed with the grace of GOD, we are born again, we become new creatures in Christ Jesus.

I AM living inside of us, He is the same GOD. That’s why we are not expected to live like the world, act like the world because we came from whole different set of circumstances, we are born again, we can see what the world cannot see, that’s why we trust GOD, that’s why we believe Him, that’s why we are willing to say yes. The presence of GOD, the Holy Spirit inside of us says move forward do not fret.

Moses walked with the presence of GOD. Moses heard GOD speak. Stand still ‘see what I have already seen’.

Exodus 3:2-4

2There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”

4When the Lord saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, “Moses! Moses!”

GOD got his attention by burning bush. Has GOD ever got your attention that you knew that moment you were standing in the presence of Holy GOD and GOD was saying something to you? That was a burning bush.

When LORD saw Moses turn to look, then GOD spoke to him. You need to turn to listen to GOD, live in obedience to GOD.

Tragedy, loss, great loss, GOD strips you of all, you have nothing to depend upon, you have absolutely nothing, then you are in the presence of GOD.

GOD is living within us. We are the holy sons and daughters of the loving Father and we have the privilege of walking in the awareness of His presence. How bless we are.
