Psalm 62:1-7

1Truly my soul waits upon God: from him comes my salvation.

2He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

3How long will you imagine evil against a man? you shall be slain all of you: as a leaning wall shall you be, and as a tottering fence.

4They only consult to cast him down from his excellency: they delight in lies: they bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

5My soul, wait you only upon God; for my expectation is from him.

6He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.

7In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Be willing to hear, wait silently before Him. Remember GOD does not act according to our schedule.

5My soul, wait you only upon God – wait means pause till further instructions.

Remain in your present state position till further instructions.

If I am in submission to GOD I am in the safest place.

Be willing to wait patiently for GOD’s timing.

Trust Him.

Wait expectantly. Expect GOD to do what He desires to do no matter what. Waiting on the GOD means GOD will do it on His timing, in His way and our responsibility is to wait patiently, trusting Him and anticipating.

Psalm 27:13-14

13I would have fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

Wait steadfastly that is to be strong in the mist of the storm.

Be courageous, take courage that means no matter what’s going on do not fear.

We are waiting for GOD to intervene in this situation no matter what it is, we are waiting for GOD to intervene. My soul waits silently before Him.

When the storm is high the only person we have is GOD.

GOD will speak to your heart, He will say this is what I want you to do. Ensure you know how to listen to GOD. Our hope is in unseen. GOD will lead the way, will guide us out of the storm. My soul waits in silence for GOD only. GOD is concern, GOD is trust wordy.
