2 Philippians 2:5-11

5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not a thing to be grasped to be equal with God:

7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

9Therefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

LORD Jesus Son of GOD is the most exalted person walked on this earth.

Our name represents us.

Jesus is name above all names. Saviour of the world. Son of Man. Prophet –the ones tells us the things to come, Teacher. Immanuel –GOD with us, the Good Sheppard –who care for us, The Light of the Wold –the source of all true knowledge and understanding, bread –He would provide what we need in life, the King –rules and had a Kingdom, the King of kings, LORD of lords, He is the Sovereign of the universe.

Psalm 103:19

19The Lord has established his throne in heaven,

and his kingdom rules over all.

High Priest – the is the one stands between us and the Father, He is the One makes intercession for us

Hebrews 4:16

16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Lamb of GOD –Because He came to this world the revealed the truth about the Father, He came as a sacrificial Lamb, GOD in human flesh for the primary purpose going to the cross laying His life voluntarily, shedding His blood in this manner. Sacrificial, all sufficient, adequate death at Calvary, paid the sins of entire world for all who trust in Him, put their faith in Him, their sin death paid for.

Bondservant –His expression of submitting Himself to the Father to serve Him all the days of His life and through His death.

It is the most sacred name above all names, LORD Jesus Son of GOD virgin born, coming into the world as a Saviour.

It is most powerful name it requires, my worship, it requires my best in everything I do, if I call myself follower of LORD Jesus Christ, I am acknowledging who He is.

Exodus 20:7

7“You shall not misuse the name of the Lord your God, for the Lord will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.

LORD Jesus is GOD.

 Acts 4:10-12

10Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him does this man stand here before you whole.

11This is the stone which was rejected by you builders, which has become the head of the corner.

12Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, by which we must be saved.

The only person who can save you is the one who laid down His life and shed His perfect blood for our sins, for He was sinless.

It is my business to tell you the truth. They don’t like it because there is no compromise. LORD Jesus name is the most powerful in all names. Repentance for our sins, crying out to LORD Jesus saves us.

We are to baptise in His name and give.

John 14:13-14

13And whatsoever you shall ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.

His name involves;

*my association with Him which is I am a follower of LORD Jesus Christ I have been saved by His death at Calvary now I am one of His children.

*Access because of my relationship to Him I have access to Him. Apart from LORD Jesus Christ you have no relation to GOD.

 Hebrews 4:16

Romans 5:1

1Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

GOD is holy. GOD will not stand in the presence of wickedness, evil and sinfulness and un-holiness separated.

*Authority because of our relationship to Him, I am one of His children, because of our access to Him we have authority. We have the authority to come to Almighty GOD and make our request. Because He told us to do it. He wants us to live our lives in our relationship to Him through prayer. We have authority to come to GOD through LORD Jesus Christ.

Matthew 7:7

7“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

 Mark 11:24

24Therefore I say unto you, whatever things you desire, when you pray, believe that you will receive them, and you shall have them.

*According to His will. Is this the will of the Father? I am submitting myself to you Father on the basis of Your knowledge Your grace Your wisdom Your will and Your love for me because I don’t want something that You don’t want me to have, I want You to grant my petition according to Your will.

Power of LORD Jesus Christ name opened the doors for us to be able to relate to Him and call Him ‘our Father’ and walk in His way and receive our needs. It is all about LORD Jesus Christ.

The persecution of LORD Jesus name; He is Son of GOD came to this world to die for our sins. Son of GOD. He is GOD came to earth to love the world and point them the right way.

His presence convicts them their own sins.

LORD Jesus name is to be proclaimed throughout the world.

Luke 24:46-47

46And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it was fit for Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

47And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Proclaim the name of LORD Jesus and all that goes with His name.
