John 14:27

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Do you have peace in your heart? Do you have a relationship with GOD whereby you convince whatever you face in life it is going to be ok because you have Him? The assurance that He is living within you, your name is written in the Lambs Book of Life. One of this days you will die and you know that you will go to heaven and everything will be right as He promised. Do you have that sense in your heart?

The world cannot give you the kind of peace LORD Jesus offers.

When a person have genuine peace we sense this togetherness in our heart, we sense oneness without strife.

The peace LORD Jesus Christ offers is peace that comes with the relationship with Him. That’s the only true source of ever lasting peace. Everything else in the world counterfeit. If you don’t have LORD Jesus you don’t have peace. He is only genuine source of peace, personal relationship with LORD Jesus Christ.

We are the children of GOD and GOD is GOD of peace. The only relationship is going to last beyond this life is our relationship with Christ. He is the Prince of Peace. We are to be called peace makers. Something within us makes people connect with the peace maker LORD Jesus Christ and things began to change in their life. When the relationship with LORD Jesus Chris gets right then you have the foundation.

We have been given gift of peace. Gift of Himself. When Christ comes into your life, He satisfies the longing, hunger and thirst in our life, truly really satisfies all. There is one narrow path leads the peace and that’s LORD Jesus Christ.

The world cannot satisfy the longing in your heart.

Luke 10:5

And into whatsoever house you enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

Pray and bless the house before you enter it.

If you are walking in peace in the narrow path a lot of things won’t be on that path.

Peace stealers are;

Lustful thoughts,     you cannot have lustful thoughts and have peace. Spirit of GOD will convict you that you shouldn’t lust after it. Lustful thoughts will create chaos in a person heart and life and we live in a society full of it.

Feelings of guilt,     if you feel guilt over a sin in your life you cannot have peace. The path to peace is very narrow.

Anger,                     you cannot be angry and have peace in your heart.

Bitterness,              don’t be bitter and angry no matter what happens. You can have the peace of loving Father.

Self-centeredness, if you are wrapped up in yourself you cannot have peace.

Doubt,                     people who leave in doubt don’t have genuine peace. A person without a peace cannot hide it. LORD Jesus is in you. He is the source of peace, He is the provider of peace, He and He alone. Having sense of oneness, sense of unity that’s the source of genuine peace no matter what happens. LORD Jesus is the genuine source of true, genuine lasting peace anyone or anything else is substitute.

Unbelief,                 an unbeliever who is not a Christian do not have a peace in their life. When you have LORD Jesus in your heart you cannot keep it to yourself. Just allow Him express who He is through your conversation, your conduct, your character. If you don’t have LORD Jesus in your life what do you have that you can truly depend upon on? LORD Jesus is the source. The narrow road to peace is the relationship with LORD Jesus.

Jealousy.

Peace is a gift of GOD comes through the presence of LORD Jesus Christ in our life. That’s the source of peace. This is why people can through most difficult circumstances in their life and have awesome sense of unshakable peace.

How to experience peace

We must believe that He is in control of our life and our circumstances. Otherwise we will attempt to be in control. There is no peace in that struggle. Do you believe He is in control of your life?

We must believe His offer of peace is real and be willing to accept His offer in spite of our feelings.

We must fully surrender our life, mind and emotion to Jesus as LORD of our life. I must surrender my conversation, character and conduct. Peace is awesome eternal relationship with Him, oneness. Whatever comes in your way respond with certainty that LORD Jesus in me will see me through this.

No matter what we face LORD Jesus Christ is in me will see me through this. It is a matter of surrender and a matter of faith. Am I willing to believe He will clean up the mess in my life? Surrender your life to the LORD. GOD will forgive you and forget it.
