We all need guidance in our lives. Our Heavenly Father has promised to lead us, to guide us. If you are wise, you would listen to His guidance.

There are 3 steps to guidance;

< I must listen to Him

< I must trust Him

< I must obey Him

Psalm 32:8

8I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go;

I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.

Proverbs 3:5-8

5Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

6in all your ways submit to him,

and he will make your paths straight.

7Do not be wise in your own eyes;

fear the Lord and shun evil.

8This will bring health to your body

and nourishment to your bones.

Obedience before GOD is doing what GOD says to do, how He says to do it and when He says to do it.

The requirements of obedience;

< Meditate on His Word; read the Word of GOD every day, think about it and how it applies, keeps me in touch in contact

Psalm 119:105

105Your word is a lamp for my feet,

a light on my path.

Word of GOD is my anchor, my light, shows me the way.

< Be sensitive to the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit dwells in you and there to give us guidance and direction.

We live obedient because we have these two awesome Word of GOD and Spirit of GOD enables us to live Godly life.

< Be sensitive to GOD’s timing in your life.

Isaiah 64:4

4Since ancient times no one has heard,

no ear has perceived,

no eye has seen any God besides you,

who acts on behalf of those who wait for him.

This is why Word of GOD trains you to listen carefully and know what He wants you to do.

GOD is omniscient, knows everybody, all situation and every circumstance. He directs our path and timing of it. Holy Spirit will show you when to do what, very clearly.

< Walk where the way is not clear.

< Obey when the command appears unreasonable.

< Have courage

Joshua 1:9

9Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Holy Spirit lives with us to give guidance and direction. GOD requires us to listen to Him, trust Him and be obedient.

Mediate on the Word of GOD, read the Word of GOD, He will speak to you. When you listen to Him, trust Him and obey Him you will find yourself growing in your Christian life, more confident, stronger and assured and more able to recognise the presence of GOD in your life. You cannot fail obeying GOD, listening and trusting Him.

< Leave all the consequences to Him. Obey GOD, leave all the consequences to Him and watch GOD work.
