Isaiah 55:8-11

8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.

9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

10For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:

11So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

 1 Peter 1:23

23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.

a light on my path.

Psalm 119:111

Philippians 4:7

Hebrews 4:12

12For the word of God is living, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

*Word of GOD is like a mirror. It divides soul and spirit. We began to understand the true intentions of the heart.

Psalm 119:9-11

9How shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to your word.

10With my whole heart have I sought you: O let me not wander from your commandments.

11Your word have I hid in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

*Word of GOD builds resistance, we do not sin. Keeps us from sinning.

Psalm 19:7

7The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

*GOD brings us back to Himself through His Word.

1 Peter 2:1-2

1Therefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speaking,

2As new born babes, desire the pure milk of the word that you may grow thereby:

*Salvation is an act, it is a decision we make.

When you get in Word of GOD you will grow in wisdom and understanding, you will know exactly what to do.

 Psalm 119:28

28My soul melts for heaviness: strengthen me according unto your word.
