We live in a very fearful timing in history. There are lots of things around us causes fear. GOD people don’t mean to live in fear.

Ecclesiastes 12:13

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind.

We have violated this, decided to ignore the fundamental principles in the Word of GOD and how we got where we are.

Isaiah 41:10-13

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

All who rage against you will surely be ashamed and disgraced; those who oppose you will be as nothing and perish.

Though you search for your enemies, you will not find them. Those who wage war against you will be as nothing at all.

For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, do not fear; I will help you.”

Fear is an uneasy feeling, a feeling of dread, a feeling of an alarm warning us, feeling threatened by something.

Fear the LORD means reverence Him, acknowledge Him for who He is and respect GOD is GOD, Holy, righteous GOD.

What we thinks affects our actions.

Proverbs 1:7

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

GOD says “For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7

Fear is not from GOD but power of love and sound mind.

GOD does not wants us to fear. If you fear you will not be happy, content and peaceful.

Undermines our self confidence

Can result in panic

Enslaves us with a feeling uncertainty

Destroys relationships

Steals or joy, peace, happiness and contentment

Blocks our spiritual growth

Hinders us from becoming the person GOD wants us to be

Affects our physical health

Victory over fear

Acknowledge its presence

Identify its cause

Change our focus

Focus on the Word of GOD

Isaiah 41:10

It is a faith battle.

2 Chronicles 19:3

There is, however, some good in you, for you have rid the land of the Asherah poles and have set your heart on seeking God.”

2 Chronicles 20:3

Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to inquire of the LORD, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah.

When you first hear a news it may cause fear but it should flee from you. The proper response is to seek the LORD. Set your heart to seek the face of the LORD.GOD uses those problems to teach us something that we will never learn. GOD is up to good in our lives. GOD takes care of everyone.
