Waiting on GOD’s timing

Posted on 31 Oct 2019

Timing with GOD is everything. His timing and His plan go together and He reveals it one step at a time.

GOD has a timing in that plan. GOD’s timing absolutely essential and I must walk according to His timing. GOD delays in order to give something better than we plan.

Psalm 27:11-14

11Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a level path, because of my enemies.

12Deliver me not over unto the will of my enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

13I would have fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

David was anointed as king at 16 but became a king at the age of 30. For 14 years he was in run and hide from Saul. GOD had a plan, His timing was perfect. GOD has a plan for your life, it is yours when GOD gets it all ready. He was preparing David, teaching Him.

Waiting on the LORD is not easy thing. His plan is perfect, His timing is perfect. Waiting is active stillness. I am doing what GOD called me to do quietly and waiting for GOD for the next step. Only He knows when you are ready and you can handle certain blessings in your life, only He knows what dangers you face in life. He chooses what we need for that point in time in our life.

Waiting is sense of expectation. LORD I am willing to do whatever you want and wait in my life for whatever is next. GOD wants His best for His children.

 Psalm 25:1-3

1Unto you, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.

2O my God, I trust in you: let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me.

3Yea, let none that wait on you be ashamed: let them be ashamed who transgress without cause.

Psalm 37:7-9, 34

7Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.

8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any way to do evil.

9For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

34Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.

GOD will provide all we need when we walk in His will.

He will take you where you are and He will give you a whole new beginning. GOD has a plan and timing, it is very important to wait on the LORD.

 Psalm 40:1

1I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

GOD is willing to show His plan if we are willing to listen to Him.

Isaiah 64:4

4For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, O God, besides you, what he has prepared for him that waits for him.

He acts on our behalf. Obedience is the key. GOD I am going to do your way. I trust you.

We wait on GOD’s timing;

*To receive His clear direction. You cannot lose anything that GOD has put your name on it. Wait on the LORD when you cannot see the way. He will reveal it to you when He clears the way. He won’t come up short.

I am waiting for direction.

Psalm 119:74, 81

74They that fear you will be glad when they see me; because I have hoped in your word.

81My soul faints for your salvation: but I hope in your word.

Psalm 106:6-15

6We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

7Our fathers understood not your wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of your mercies; but rebelled against him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

8Nevertheless he saved them for his name’s sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

9He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

10And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

11And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

12Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

13They soon forgot his works; they waited not for his counsel:

14But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tested God in the desert.

15And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

You have the Holy Spirit living in you. He is the compass. He is the guide, He is the one has all the information that we need to live godly life and obediently. If our goal is to conform the image of LORD Jesus Christ, the people meet you every day should meet LORD Jesus Christ. Allow the LORD to live His life through your life in His timing.

*To keep us in step with His timing.

GOD knows when you are ready to receive His best. Sometime we are not able to handle the things till we are ready. GOD is not in hurry because He knows you have time.

*To test our faith.

*To strengthen our faith.

*To shift down motives for our desires.

*To bring us around to His view point

We should wait;

2 Corinthians 5:17.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
